Kim Delaney and MEK might have been young and untested when they debuted on AMC, but charisma, for lack of a better word, allowed them to become audience favorites and carried them through their initial green-ness on screen. They, and others, had a spark. Too many young actors today (on soaps, and elsewhere) don't have even a flicker. I'm sorry, but Ryan Bittle looks old enough to be Cady's piece, not her son.
