Has there been any word or hint as to where Kathy is? If AJ got SORASED, then she has to be older than him, possibly 17, 18? Is she in college? Jenny definetly wouldn't be yet. She's off with Krystal, or Tad? Is Tad married to Dixie? Was her name listed as Dixie Martin or Dixie Cooney?

I'm sure when MEK returns as Tad, teenaged Kathy won't be far behind; Though I do find it sort of weird she wasn't cast, since Cady/Dixie is on contract w/the show. Maybe Kathy grew up hating Dixie for always coming in & out of her life w/different hair and she decided to leave town w/Tad.

AMC on ABC near the end had enough fuckin' kids. I keep forgetting Jenny Martin and Gabrielle and Ian exist. It was bordering on Guiding Light. Leave those kids off for awhile.

YES. Kathy, Jenny, Gabrielle, and Ian mean almost nothing to me because AJ, Miranda, Emma, and Spike were enough. I still want Spike back, though.

I'd be happy to see Kathy and Spike as young kids on a regular basis. Beyond that those little fuckers can stay gone for now.

Kathy isn't a young kid. She's older than 16/17 AJ/Miranda, so I figure she's away at college with her father for now!

The problem to me is the show is called All My Children and I sometimes feel like they should change it to "All My Children that I Forgot About". I mean if they are adults fine So yeah they could definetly SOARS Cathy to 18 and say she is off at college or something, But even with SORAS Gabby would be around 11 and the only way she isn't with Bianca is if she is with Reese, or Marissa, or dead. Same for Jenny, she couldn't be more than 14.

I too don't want the show overrun with babies and kids, but since they've already dug the hole of giving too many characters kids, I'd at least want to know that the adults on screen are aware of and know where there children are.

There is still the queen bee "Heather" they were casting that I don't think we've heard anything about yet who was the right age for Kathy (a year or two older than Miranda and A.J.). I think Heather will in fact be a newbie named Heather (assuming that role hasn't been scrapped altogether) but it's possible she could be Kathy.

Well yes and no--her staple is young romance (or one of hers--and AMC was one of the earlier shows to focus on it)--this meant 16+ year olds though. I'm fine with that--I agree though that AMC got babby (and toddler) obsessed its last decade, and that's what people mean I think.
