Such a skeptic!

I have a vested interest in whether she will watch or not! Good money is riding on it, and my heart pitter patters everytime she changes her mind.

OMG! Yall! Those sets look fantastic! My God!!

Jill and Debbi chit chatting about the new Hubbard home like a real pair of neighbors/friends!! It's amazing, yall! And the Hubbards have a patio just like Joe and Ruth did!!

The Cortlandt Manor!! My lovely RSW, in awe of his beautiful onscreen home being built around him

I just love the general tone and atmosphere of these clips. It's extremely different from anything we got from the jokers at ABC. There's just this level of respect going into these shows that I've never personally seen in the 10 years I watched on ABC.

As far as release times, if they're released at midnight, I'll probably watch the first ep at midnight, but the rest, I'll watch upon waking up (if I'm not doing anything that day). I've always loved the idea of a "morning soap," and I'm all for AMC/OLTL being that for me.

To all my tweeters, I was just told today what "AMC" will be defined as...no longer called a daytime drama, we're now called a serial drama!

I guess this means that AMC/OLTL won't be participating in the Daytime Emmy Awards then?

That Hulu video with all the sets/design was so heartening to see!

+1000!

Maybe they will be at the primetime emmy's?

Do the Primetime Emmys include the web? Or will there be no boundaries? I think the Primetime Emmys may have to open up their categories. That Netflix series, the American version of House of Cards w/ Kevin Spacey, for instance. I could see that getting a nomination, so there could be a possibility of web series getting nominations like any broadcast or cable series/movie.

Thank God

LOL!

They wouldn't be Daytime Drama's and they are web based. The only connection they have to Daytime right now, as far as the technical stuff, is the serial format. Even that is changing!

Gold Derby did an article about this and the NATAS which is in charge of the Daytime Emmys has not decided yet what they are going to do.

This may mean yet another loosing streak for lucci! Could you imagine Susan's desire to win a "Primetime" emmy now?

Come Emmy Time: Where Will Web Soaps ‘AMC’ and ‘OLTL’ Stand?

When it comes to primetime shows competing for the Primetime Emmy, there’s no question: Web series like Netflix’s “House of Cards” will go head to head with regular television shows like “Breaking Bad” and “Downton Abby.” The rules for daytime, however, have yet to be established. But it won’t be long until a standard is in play: Gold Derby, a showbiz award news website, caught up with David Michaels, chief of Daytime for NATAS, who reveals that there is “no determination as of yet,” whether or not ‘AMC’ and ‘OLTL’ will be allowed into next year’s race, but that it “will be a discussion at the next award committee meeting.”

In the meantime, fans can look forward to the announcement of this year’s official Daytime Emmy nominees on Wednesday, May 1.
