Members All My Shadows
I probably wasn't live posting in fall of '06 lol At noon that semester, I was busy flirting with straight boys in Mrs. Vicknair's Algebra III class. I think I was taking a break from soaps at that point. YIKES. First, Josh really wanted to see what JR was working with. Second, when I hear "JR peed on Josh," I'm picturing JR literally peeing on Josh's body. Still pretty ridiculous, but not as WTFish as I'd always thought it'd been
Members EricMontreal22
I loved him (big surprise we disagree.) OK I do not forgive or excuse the unabortion story--but I grew to really like him as a character and actor. They should have used him more--he actually worked well with Greenlee but they barely went there (did they have a one night stand? I only remember them being trapped in the hospital elevator briefly.) And his exit just to "prop" (as you kids say) up Zack was ridiculous. I think most people forget there was a Josh number one--who slept with Dani. He wasn't an awful actor, so I was kinda surprised when they quickly recast--not sure if they knew he'd be Erica's kid originally or not till the recast. Members allmc2008
How do you do that? I pondered that Idea when AMC went of the air but I was afraid the show would comeback and I wouldn't get news until it began to air. I still don't know why I hung on to the show since I started when the Tornadoes of 2008 came in! I even thought Charles Pratt's reign of Terror was awful...yet I still watched. The closest thing I did to a soap break was after I first watched Jesse/Angie's return episode. I decided to "Educate myself" on AMC from February 2008 to September 2008 so when the Tornadoes hit I expected everything to be doom an gloom for a while then revert back to the AMC I watched on YT from the 80s but that was only the beginning. Members All My Shadows
It wasn't hard, really. I lost interest in all of the soaps, including AMC and ATWT, my two faves, and I just stopped setting my VCR for them. I was extremely busy with high school things at the time, too. But alas, I always come home to Pine Valley. I figured I was done for good in '06-'07ish, never expecting to be sucked into it again for that final year and a half. And now...here I am again, awaiting its, hopefully, triumphant return. This show has had me by the balls since I was 11 years old.
Members Cheap21
she fell and couldn't get up I wonder if Babe is alive. It was revealed that she was intended to be David's mystery patient. With 5 years haven passed, she could have come back, reunited with her family but now moved away, possibly to wherever Krystal and Marissa are. Members EricMontreal22
That's kinda my story too (though I think I was about 5 months shy of 11 when I got hooked). When I was in grade 11 and 12 I became less into soaps mainly just due to time--OLTL was a huge mess then so it wasn't too hard to mostly drop and Loving/The City had ended... I did mostly keep up with AMC, though I would watch it just in the background while doing homework, etc, but being involved with school, a social life for the first time (!), all my theatre, etc, it's easy to just lose interest especially if there's not something incredibly compelling on tv. It helped that I had a spare class around noon time (when AMC airs on the West coast) and lived by the school so would often go home to have lunch and just turn it on. Members AllMyDaysatGH
Ryan Bittle (JR) was in tonights episode of Shameless playing a big shot lawyer. He was pretty good. He reminded me of Ingo Rademacher (Jax) from GH.
Members John
Before PP took over in July 2011, Babe was supposed to be alive and her & Jr were to reunite. However, when PP happened & knowing Alexa wouldnt do AMC again, they made her a ghost. Now If AMC wanted to say Bbae is alive, Cool. Personally even though Alexa was great, that role is recastable Any nudity from him. I love that show. Love Micky & Ian. But dont have Showrime so have to watch clips on Youtube

Members John
He is a great actor. PP made a great choice there for JR
Members EricMontreal22
You could just download it As for Babe--there's no point in a recast IMHO. I actually loved the Babe ghost moment (I wish Gillian's had been as effective)--it was perfect for JR's messed psyche at the time, and I found it much more moving than I expected it to. They already recast her--it wasn't awful but she never gelled anyway, her mom's not on the show, they've dealt with her death-- I know she had some serious fans but they seemed to be more Alexa fans than Babe fans anyway--and I think everyone's moved on. Members Vee
I see absolutely no point in recasting Babe, a polarizing character whose heyday is looong gone.
Members Angela
I thought that moment had more impact than all the (ridiculous) returns from the dead put together.
Members Jonathan
Gillian was actually supposed to return from the dead also, but the plan changed once PP came into the picture.
