GH, GL, ATWT, SB- Brand NEW INTERVIEW with BRIDGET DOBSON!!!

Yep. I think. The Hursleys' daughters all sued ABCD, claiming they were denied a percentage of profits or royalties from GH, their parents' creation.

Bridget Dobson and Pat Falken Smith: they sure do love their lawsuits.

wouldn't it be ironic that IF Prospect Park gets GH, they wind up getting Bridget and her husband as creative consultants

What did Pat do?

I guess they had a point if, after a long time, they won against NBC--how long were they actual HWs at SB anyway?

All very interesting, especially those late 70's ratings showing GL at #1. Never knew that before. That time would have been exciting with ATWT and all of the NBC soaps going into freefall, GH moving from the bottom to the top etc

Also worth considering is that the Dobsons came to GL when it was 30 min and they orchestrated the move to 60 min with the introduction of the Spauldings and Marlers, whereas at ATWT the had to revamp the existing 60 min show-a lot more characters and stories to juggle.

What did Pat do?

Pat Falken Smith filed lawsuits against DAYS and GH. I don't know what happened concerning those, however.

I do agree with her that the show-runner/head writer should watch the show because sometimes seeing how the actors perform the words and play off of each other could give new ideas to the writers in charge.

I read somewhere once that JER never watched the shows he wrote for, is that true?
