Members marceline
ITA. I'm also glad they signed her because other than Lucci, I think Debbi has the most recognition in the mainstream.
Members DRW50
I think it would also attract some viewers who may have written off daytime, and that's the type of viewer they should be looking for, someone who likely tried Y&R last year and wondered why they were watching something that made That's My Mama seem fresh. Members EricMontreal22
It's been so long since I've seen an All Her Children reference from Eric! I was hoping R Sinclair would notice it first. It's like I keep it next to my bible, under my pillow (I do--All Her Children I mean, not the bible). Members EricMontreal22
Even with the Susan is a (sorta) diva posts, I really think she would agree to a few appearances--and if they rebuilt the show around the Hubbards and some Martins (and Jill Larson being an Myrtle figure--) I would happily see what was going on. Members EricMontreal22
I think I would be the only one to watch that--and just out of maoschism if Agnes Nixon was involved.
Members DRW50
They can stage it in the same place they'll be holding the next Daytime Emmys - the bathroom at the Shoney's off the highway.
Members EricMontreal22
(I won't comment on the "how drunk you guys were" comment--cuz I still am) but, absolutely--and I think her character came out at the end of AMC as still one of the reasons people watch. Members ellabelle
I could definitely see Angie moving into the matriarch role. Erica was a rather unwilling matriarch, but I definitely want her back. As unenthusiastic as I was over the thought of watching Erica make her movie, I'd even get behind a spinoff of her in Hollywood if it was well written. Although I'm of the opinion that JR shot Bianca, leaving her alive but in critical condition with only David and his magic Orpheus drugs to save her, in which case Erica would have told Kit Sterling to back off because she wasn't leaving Pine Valley with her daughter on the verge of death. Members Cheap21
Grandma Boring better not return but I hope her replacement along with CBL as Bianca returns. Somewhere out there, Im sure Eden Riegel is thirsty to reprise the role but girl needs to sit her ass down
Members marceline
So just to recap, the AMC cast list thus far is VI and DM (confirmed) and Hartley, Knight, Williams (rumored), right? Am I missing anyone? I have to admit that I am utterly stunned that we haven't heard anything about Mathison signing. I'll be interested to see who among the younger set they approach. They'll have to rebuild the young Hubbards from scratch but nothing would make me happier than if they make them a nice big core family like the Martins. They need to recast all the Hubbard kids which makes me sad because I loved Smith, Kane and Martinez so much but I welcome the chance to find new actors (and characters) to love. I can think of a number of theatre actors in NYC that I would enjoy try these roles. In addition, the diversity activist in me is very, very happy. I'm cautiously optimistic that the signing of the Hubbards and Cara first means that PP will throw off the lead weight of ABC-enforced homogeneity that helped destroy these shows. Members allmc2008
Are Jessee's and Angie's older relatives still alive? Angie's mom? Jessee's Aunt or Uncle?
Members John
Angie's mom is alive. I agree with Errol it may be that Mathison wont do AMC again. He is booking lots of ABC gigs out in LA
Members alexisfan07
Marceline, Hartley is confirmed and Morgan swore up and down that Williams had signed on and mentioned their happy reactions they shared together but that's essentially correct. I can't imagine they'd approach Knight and not McClain. Who else do you guys think they approached from the final cast?
Members soapfave06
Jesse's Aunt Nancy is alive as well, she was actually a lead before Angie and Jesse became popular. I don't expect to ever see her or Pat again though.
