I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Same. It doesn't bother me either. I just hope the teens are involved in a good story and hope they're not running multi-million dollar companies within a year. I'm also really tired of the teen pregnancy storylines. And if Miranda gets raped, I think I'm done.

With Agnes back, I don't doubt that the teens will get stories more in line with their age than running companies. I also hope there are no more rape stories.

Re: Miranda: She sounded like a Kathy or Jenny in the audition script, to be honest OR in other words she sounded like what I'd expect a child of Tad and Dixie/Krystal to act like. That's probably the Bianca & Mona elements IF she is anything like that when she airs.

I can't imagine a child of Chandler being a good boy especially with the issues AJ should have: Lived in Llanview for a while, back and forth between Babe/Jamie and JR, dead mother, drunk father. BUT like I said, if it wasn't for that mutual birthday line, I would have thought the AJ & Miranda audition script was for Spike (or Ian) and Jenny (or Kathy).

It would kind of be be funny do the turn around. Miranda and Spike both devious little bitches and good boy AJ finally gets fed up of their games.

ETA: Somebody asked what age Spike should be. He should be 2 years younger than Miranda but he can get a lil extra SORAS.

As of like mid-December, she had not been contacted. She only tweeted about it once from what I saw.

AMC is going to HAVE to bring in new characters because practically all of the "kids" from the show's ending are related to each other in one way or another. Jenny is AJ's aunt through Krystal, and Kathy is AJ's aunt through Dixie. If Marissa married Bianca in the interim (assuming JR didn't kill her), then AJ is Miranda and Gaby's stepbrother. Spike and Ian are both related by blood to Miranda and Gabby. Emma is related by blood to Spike, but no one else, which IMHO makes her a good candidate for a rival for AJ. Although if you want to get technical, when Ryan and Greenlee are married, Emma is related to Miranda and Gaby by marriage since Greenlee is Jack's daughter and Jack is Bianca's uncle.

Unfortunately, Miranda will probably be yet another Mona/Bianca clone, and Emma will be the crazy one, but I'd much rather have either Miranda or Gaby as the Erica Kane 2.0 version. Miranda has a lot of obvious reasons to be bitchy, but as others have said, I could absolutely see Gaby being the one with Erica-like issues and attitude - feeling weird because of how she was created to basically cement a relationship between her two mothers, fathered by her uncle without her aunt's knowledge or consent, feeling like her Daddy Zach abandoned her to stay with his REAL family with Kendall, that Zach loved Spike more than her and Spike's not really his biological child, feeling like Miranda is the golden child with the center named after her, etc., etc.

Nothing at all against Bobbie Eakes but Krystal was too all over the place and with a half hour show they have to focus on a core group. Im sure she can be brought on again or maybe she is guesting? We dont know. I mean, there is Jenny. Tho killing Krystal might not be a bad idea.

As far as KWAK goes, my great hope is that JR shot her or Marissa both, and they left town to recover, never to be heard from again. I've seen some speculation that since neither Bobbie Eakes nor Walt Willey has indicated that they've been contacted by PP that perhaps KWAKerJack hooked up and left Pine Valley together.

That sounds plausible. I know they somewhat danced around them pairing up a couple of times.

I actually don't care if I see Gabrielle or Ian ever again. Bianca can be raising that tyke out of town when she's not in Pine Valley and Ian can be at hockey camp.

Same here, also with Tad's little girls, too. The only "next generation" kids I ever cared about were Miranda, AJ, Spike, and Emma. The others can be used as needed, but they aren't necessary. Maybe Ian can be a voice of reason for Spike and Miranda because he thinks AJ isn't worth them hating each other ("Why can't we be cool again like when we were kids???").

Eh...I think JR killed Marissa (accidentally - from the gun he dropped after trying to kill himself - creating all sorts of tension between JR/David and JR/AJ and eliminating the ICK factor of AJ/Miranda being romantically involved after being raised as siblings since they were seven) and that Krystal/Jenny died tragically (my preference, since they're both pretty useless at this point and Tad already has one little girl - plus it could explain Tad's absence i.e., he freaked over the loss of his kid) or moved away from PV at some point during the 5 year time jump.

Yeah if they will have JR's actions cause the deaths of people.I wonder how the other characters on the show will deal JR all the time without trying to punch him in the face .
