HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

LMAO!

I generally don't like to go in on people's looks (unless your name is Kristen Alderson, as that hooker just grinds my gears in every way possible, and of course the occasional Kim Zimmer joke), but from time to time I partake, jokingly. I do not think Susan Haskell is ugly, but Cindy Crawford she ain't. Sorry to piss off the leader of her fan club.

.

I just drew the line when people started making animal sounds. I do get that there's a standard model "look" and SH doesn't fit my image of it--my initial point though was she could still have been a successful model in some venue (which makes it sound like I'm hinting at porn or something... lol I'm not). I seriously doubt she did high end modelling, but a number of those people have downright, what people would call, weird looking faces--they go for an extreme look, or for otherproducts people try to go for a more everyday look, etc.

Because every woman should be Cindy Crawford or she couldn't possibly be considered beautiful. Noted.

Yeah. But, IMO. That time that Michelle Stafford spat on Victoria Rowell. (If that is true) Michelle should have been the one to go.

She should have been fired right on the spot.

Not that I'll ever open that can of worms again, but no. Actually, hell no. First of all, Victoria Rowell, as fabulous an actress as she is, is bat [!@#$%^&*] crazy so lets not take her word as gospel. Second of all, MS did a spit take - a common acting technique. Yes, she should have cleared it with Baby Jane, but it does not mean she's racist and no, she most certainly should not have been fired.

Notice the release said ACTIVE CBS star, implying they'd be doing both.

Nah, or someone that's leaving. I don't think they can legally do that unless it's someone that's on recurring...

They can, sometimes, but they have to get special permission IIRC. Which is very rarely granted to a rival show in the same genre...

I could actually see her doing department store ads. And no, I'm not being a dick. She has a Macy's or Sears look about her.

I don't think she did a lot of print work. Probably a lot of runway work since she's pretty tall and very thin.

Well. I actually didn't know all the details until now. And, I said..."if it was true" So, yeah. How BS crazy is she, BTW?

Why would AMC even need Cliff again? Really?

No Palmer (cause he's dead), and no Nina. So...He would just stick out like a sore thumb. Kinda like Caleb did.

I'm not going to open up that whole debacle again, but with that story, remember we've only ever heard Victoria Rowell's version of the events. No one else has said anything about it, so the whole incident is based around what Rowell says.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Probably so (the truth being in the middle of the road) that is.

But technically these shows aren't really rivals are they? They aren't in a competing time slot and CBS doesn't make their shows available on Hulu so CBS really has nothing to lose. Especially if the actor is on recurring.

Peter Bergman's Cliff was a doctor, so it would fit with the AMC hospital motif. That said I was thinking what about Zach Conroy as he isn't on contract at B&B as the SORASed Matthew at OLTL.
