This is all just a headache. Seriously, as I stated before, PP should just forget about John, Starr, and Todd. Those three characters are not break/make for OLTL. OLTL has 40+ years of characters to utilize. Just bring them in for whatever and let them go back to GH. This will just create a clusterf*ck--something the PP shows don't need at this time.

PP paid money for Starr, John & Todd & should be allowed the use of those characters if they chose/ If RH can make a 4 week apperance so can KA & ME. And im sorry but IMHO KA owes her carrer to OLTL & should be open to doing this.

True. However, I think they are putting all their eggs in one basket. As I've stated before, Starr/John/Todd are not the end all, be all of OLTL. Don't no monkey stop the show. Yes, PP paid for those three characters, however, the have hundreds more than easily replace them. And I agree that crossovers should happen; however, it shouldn't be a crossover where they are given a heavy story. It should be a drive-by (IMO)--they pop in, spend awhile there, and head back to GH if that's where the actors wants to be or FV/RC still wants to utilize them.

I just see them recasting (b/c I see all three actors leaving the roles if push comes to shove) will do more harm than good.

I'm sick of this particular illogic. GH has 50+ years of characters to mine. Instead they've CHOSEN to make OLTL characters the center of the universe. Not only paying big bucks for their salaries, but paying PP major bucks to use those characters. This whole Todd and John aren't that important to OLTL goes double for GH.

OLTL ended with certain dynamics in place. The arrogance of GH fans! Presuming that all OLTL viewers who loved the show moved on to GH and know that John McBain, ditched his family to chase the killer of a sister he never had, and made another man's wife his latest fixation. That OLTL viewers know that Viki's brother and Jack's father has become GH's variation on David Vickers.

OLTL viewers rightfully have some expectation that the stories they were watching at the show's end are continuing. Otherwise just create a new show by the same name.

PP shouldn't give a [!@#$%^&*] about GH fans. Just like Cartini continue to not give a [!@#$%^&*] about OLTL.

Lol. You are welcome.

I keep seeing the same people say the same [!@#$%^&*] over and over again. That the characters fit better on GH or they just like them in their new pairings better than their old so PP should just give them up. That is just so pompous and idiotic. OLTL is certainly more than just these three characters. But they will enhance the potential for stories on OLTL. And they belong to OLTL. And those are the only factors that should matter to PP. What is best for OLTL. I do not care about the actors. I don't care that it would be inconvenient for GH to lose the characters, or to be forced to create new characters for those actors.

First of all, I'm not a "GH fan" so get your facts straight. I declare myself a soap fan, as I watch ALL the d*mn shows. I don't stan for any of the current soaps more than the other. So your whole statement about the "arrogance" of GH fans fell on deaf ears because again I'm not just a GH fan.

As as I stated before and I'll continue to say so, John, Starr, and Todd aren't the end all, be all of OLTL. Don't no monkey stop no show.

Just because they aren't on the show does not mean it has to be a "new show." As long as Dorian, Clint, Bo, and Viki are on the show--that's OLTL for me. Now if PP wants to walk into a clusterf*ck then so be it.

And must we really result to name calling? How old are we? Save that s*it for the birds.

The clusterfuck will be if OLTL reboots as a fundamentally different show than it ended.

Are the writers permanently crippled by losing these characters? I doubt it. But they are definitely hobbled at a time where they need to have every asset at their disposal to get this show launched with the greatest potential for success.
