EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Actually I think it will. One Life fans that came to the show will tune out. And soaps barely have credibility nowadays, so implanting these three actors in a role shortly after leaving another role will cause ruckus too. One Life can do just fine without them. They did about 30 years before Todd was even a thought on the show.

It doesn't really matter what GH fans want. Or what OLTL fans want. Only what pp wants and believes is necessary for their success i believe they said these characters are ""essential". Why should pp care more about what GH fans want than their own "hopefully" loyal viewers? That would be asinine.

As I said, they are under contact with ABC. If they wanted to go to "One Life to Live" and play those characters ABC would have to allow them to.

How do you know they don't want to go? Where is the evidence they are being bullied? All I see are three actors who are just biding their time and cashing their checks while the lawyers and accountants work stuff out and a whole lot of drama queens on the internet who are losing their minds.

As Khan would attest, Marlene McPherson is a lot easier to bury alive in order to intimidate her to do your bidding than, say, a Roger Howarth or Michael Easton.

I can't imagine Roger or KA changed their minds about PeePee. They didn't sign initially, which means they'd have no work, so I'm willing to bet they'd prefer the solid gig of GH over an Internet show with not much promise. So yeah, I believe they are being forced into it should they decide to do this because ABC wants them to.

Matter of opinion. But you keep wanting to make this about Melissa and Natalie. I've tried to explain its much bigger than that for me. It's about maintaining "sovereignty" for OLTL. Pp might not last six months. Or maybe it will survive 20 more years. Idk and neither do you. I think the OLTL characters on GH damaged the OLTL brand. I do not want that to continue. It's not worth it. John can go back and discover Evangeline is really alive for all I care.
