PP is about to do AMC without even one of the following: Susan Lucci/Erica, David CanaryAdam, Michael E. Knight/Tad. Neither Erica Kane or either one of her daughters will apparently be on the show. The canvas will not have a single member of the Martin family. But PP believes OLTL absolutely needs Starr and John McBain!?

Actors are fired from television shows every day for various reasons. It's not akin to breaking the Geneva Convention.

I'm hoping we haven't heard anything because PP is in the process of hiring or contracting with a professional(s) to handle their PR/communications/promotion. They really, really need that. They need somebody to disseminate information, develop a social media policy for the people involved and build relationships with the press. I love ME and I know that he was only trying to do right by his fans but this soap echo chamber shitstorm he created is a perfect example of why PP needs someone on their end to handle inquiries. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Hulu is handling the marketing of the shows. Prospect Park already hired an additional publicity firm to assist their current one, which has been pretty amazing as of late. But if you're referring specifically to a social media person, I know what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure they are hiring or have hired someone for this already, but nothing can be "released" or "teased" due to the shows not currently filming yet. Just have patience.

Yep. They are. And, KA and ME's are 3 year contracts. RH's is a year.

good article, so does that mean all three are staying for sure? and if so, why do they have to stop taping on Feb 8th, especially in the case of Easton, who is in the middle of a story that can make him Caleb? This whole thing is so confusing

Thanks for the info. I am glad to hear it. Really. Can you share which companies are handling the publicity? (Apologies if I've missed that info.)

As for the social media stuff, I'm not looking for teases but I do think it's vitally important for whoever that person is to get a handle on the actors and staff. Information needs to come from one "official" place where it can be controlled and managed. Not actor tweets or FB postings. That's better for PP and the actors/staff.

This may be a mess, however, not everything PP related is like that as I have learned this evening.
