This is starting to take on that crazy feel that I'm used to seeing with Broadway shows. So-and-so joins, so-and-so drops out. They want this theatre but the show there is extending. Oops we lost an investor. All we need is a rash of injuries and this will officially become the soap version of Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark.

I hate PP and I will not watch one day of them, so the first thing they do is fire three actors, how nice and charming of them, these actors won't do PP now that's for sure so what did they get out of this? I guess they wanted to show how big and tough they are, well nice going PP, you won, but you lost a lot of viewers today and a lot of respect and that you can't get back

I don't view them as being fired. The just can't appear on GH for the time being. Besides aren't ME, KA, and RH East Coast based?? If they are I am sure this will be easier for them than having to commute from one coast to another. Also, if you don't watch OLTL and others follow your path those actors along with the crew members and writers will be unemployed as well. Also, there is more to every story.

I can give PP shade for a lot of reasons, but this was actually inevitable. ABC (as well as myself) believed PP would never get it together, but they did and the lease to the characters is still theirs. So, this is an issue that needs to be taken care of. And if I owned the lease to OLTL there's no way I'd give up three stars no questions asked just because someone else had taken them off my hands while I was away. It's something that needs to be handled.

It was Turn Off The Dark last time, but this time - at least with this particular rights issue - it's a matter of course, AFAIC. But I don't think they're all going to be gone from GH for good. I personally expect that they will all visit OLTL, then return to GH. I'm slightly divided as I'd love to see Roger Howarth back on OLTL full time even as I enjoy him on GH, but no one's gonna make Roger do anything but Roger.

PP can't force the actors to do anything and they are trying to force them and they all live in LA, how would you feel if some company that has proven nothing except they are liars forced you out of your job and was trying to force you to move across the country at your expense for a lower paying less secure job

We don't know what they're doing. We know they're disputing the rights to the characters, not white slavery for the actors. We know that DC is very close to GH and is reporting their side. We also know that PP has a history of slapdash bully tactics.

I tend to set my own POV somewhere in between all that noise, because their reporting on PP last time was very accurate. I think PP is driving a perhaps unreasonably hard bargain and may not have all their [!@#$%^&*] together - I still won't believe this is happening until I know actors are taping shows - but I also think DC these days is too close to Carlivati's GH and has a vested interest in that side of the story.

commute |kəˈmyo͞ot|

verb

1 [ no obj. ] travel some distance between one's home and place of work on a regular basis: she commuted from Westport in to Grand Central Station.

People in the business commute all the time. Just because PP failed last time does not deem them as liars. I hope you are not one of those people who think PP is doing this to get a rise out of soap fans because that is idiotic.
