EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

That would, maybe, someday if you played her off against Kathy in the future. But that show has too many kids to know what to do with at the moment. The first thing to do is send a couple of them - like Gabby and Ian - off to boarding school/the other room for about 5 years.

I just meant Opal raising a child with the same name, and gene pool, as her daughter. Raising another child late in life. I think it would be something different, because it wouldn't be one of those stories where a 60 year old magically becomes pregnant.

I'm the same with with the Martin children in particular. But, yes, I think you got that right.

No, I agree that would be interesting, so long as you played up the tension with her actually being Tad and Krystal's - they would have to have come to a tacit and perhaps unofficial and uneasy agreement with Opal - and not necessarily being quite so close to Kathy anymore.

If PP wants these shows want to be topical let's start with a story where Tad finally gets a vasectomy. I'd also recommend a tubal ligation for Jessica on OLTL if they are thinking of bringing her back.

Nothing takes on soaps. I would hope that Jessica wouldn't have any other children, considering her medical history. And her general [!@#$%^&*] for brains.

If Maya has moved away from PV, Lucy would be with her. If KWAK is gone, Jenny is with her. If Ryan, Greenlee and/or Annie is out of Oakhaven, Emma could be with anyone of them.

Realistically, it would leave Kathy, Spike, Ian, AJ, Miranda and Gabrielle. If they age any, the rest of the group would likely be aged with them.

It is possible that any of the kids could be off at camp, boarding school, visiting Grandma Kane in Hollywood, etc... but if they step foot in PV, I'd bet they would at least be a tween, if not, teen.

I keep hearing that more and more Grandparents are being forced to raise there grand kids these days so that could give the show a good sense of Realism. Also, they may be able to revisit the Jenny/Greg/Liza days.

Just send Ian and Gabby to a friend's house/boarding school, have Jenny offscreen with Opal. Leave Miranda, A.J., Spike and Kathy in town, with Spike and Kathy being just tweens for now. In the future I think you can bring Jenny in as well and introduce a complicated relationship between those two sisters. Everything else, you could add new young people.

I also hope OLTL eventually uses Zane, and that when he shows he actually has a British accent. I always thought it would be a kick to have a very proper little British boy turn up flustering the Buchanans, though he'd be a teen by now, I guess. Then again, if you did that you'd likely also have to age little Sam, and I can't handle that yet.
