EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

I'm really glad they decided to try and work something out with the WGA. It was necessary. The Fi-Core writers were, mostly, atrocious and the few good ones likely wouldn't jump at the job, so ... good.

I feel like we're getting much more information this time, HOWEVER, I really wish we knew what fell into place this time compared to last time. I feel like last time they were rushing themselves, and got in far over their heads. I think maybe they sat back and actually have a game plan this time.

However, I refuse to commit 100% to this happening. I refuse LOL. I hope it does, I really do but I will forever remain cautious until I see a finished product on whatever screen I can watch it on.

Wondering will One Life FINALLY get the CJ Roberts that people have speculated about every new younger guy that joined the show in the last five years?

Lish is bi-coastal..she travels back & forward from NY to LA but she spends most of her time on the east coast. Debbie Morgan has homes in Cali and NY so I can see her doing in. Single Ladies is only 12 episodes a year and it shoots in Atlanta, still the actress sucks so RECAST plz if needed.

I totally see Cady totally signing on..she has homes in New Orleans and New York and MEK is doing nothing LOL.

For some reason an online/potential cable stream sounds more attractive than a typical daytime soap. A lot of MAINSTREAM Stars are doing webisodes/online spoofs..etc...

If this happens and takes off, I can see PP getting bigger acts for cameos and HUGE sponsors.
