Members JackPeyton
Did anyone ever go to the Soap Opera Bistro at Disneys California Adventure? It closed in like 2003 I think. I ate their twice, both time in 2001. It was fun and all the little rooms were recreated sets like the nurses station, kellys and the chandler mansion. They also had soap stuff for sell and some soap opera events too. Members MissLlanviewPA
I TOTALLY forgot about place until I saw this thread! I remember seeing a news story on it when it opened back then (I think it would have been 2001)! PC was still on the air and I remember it being mentioned. I've never been to CA, though, so I never got to go there
Members SFK
My friend went with his fam (mom was a soap fan) and said that their waiter even dished on some soap stars who had eaten there when they had some big soap event.
Members chicklitsandfantasies
Sounds like this place should've been opened in the early 90s instead of early 2000s.
Members JackPeyton
It would have been fine, i think, except as noted in the link when Cali Adventure opening it was over stuffed with restaurants and shops and short on shows and rides. I also believe a fire broke out and it was closed for that and just never reopened because they turned into a mickey playhouse show.
Members Cheap21
It would have been great if some of the staff were soap character lookalikes.
