Y&R December Discussion 2012

Three episodes this week and no comments on them?

It's sad, but I feel as if Y&R fans (or the ones on here) have plain given up on their show.

Victoria's kidnapping was basically pointless. It served no purpose other than to put people to sleep. Amelia Heinle may have a few years under the belt, but she can't carry or even be supporting in a storyline.

I actually thought the kidnapping was some of the better acting AH has done recently. The lackluster person in the storyline was Billy Miller. EB was out acting him.

Who the heck is Eddie G?

The kidnapper played by the actor who played Coleman on GH

Eddie G is Kenny G's long lost brother....sorry bad joke but I couldnt resist.

Khan I feel that you are correct on this observation. This show needs is still reeling from the damage that MAB did and who knows if it can every truly be repaired. They've started with an overhaul behind the cameras, now I say they do an overhaul in front of the cameras and wittle down the cast

Victoria's kidnapping was just a plot point so that Victor could one-up Billy and finally reveal that Billy knew Victor was in LA. I think it was to wrap up that dangling plot thread. Too bad Genevieve left with about three plot threads unresolved. Cane could care less that his mother allegedly murdered someone and fled the country. All these independent exits--Harmony, Gen, Nina, Ronan, Heather (and Daniel and Eden?) --with unresolved goodbyes don't sit well with me.

I could care less about Genevieve as well and I don't see anyone complaining about never seeing the ending of her story. Eden didn't leave she's still here. Daniel left town with Lucy and is with Heather from what we heard. I know Ronan got an exit but I missed that day and could honestly care less about his exit. He comes and goes every 6 months without resolution anyway. Nina did get a resolved exit. She left town again after dumping Paul when she saw him kissing Cricket. Katherine asked her to stay but she said it was best if she left.

Yep and a new cop is replacing him. JB wants fans to campaign for his return.

Ummm nope. lol I'd rather have my core Y&R characters and less of MAB's nonsense characters. That includes all 500 she's brought on during her tenure.

Far from it.

How anyone can give up on a 40-year-old show based on a few bad years is beyond me.

No, he means that it used to be an actual tack house (a barn) but it was remodeled into a place to live. It doesn't mean they're remodeling it again.

No! I was pointing out that they are making fun of the home. They've been making fun of the home lately which makes me think they might give Nick a better place to live.

Ah, I see.

I hope they don't though. The tack house isn't one of the sets that needs to go, IMO.

I hate the tack house. Nick and Sharon's home was such a beautiful set and it's completely underused now. The tack house just doesn't stand up next to that or the Newman ranch and all are supposed to be on the same property.
