I love these! Anyone have one in their state? There's one in the city I live in, and it's very popular, and they show a double feature for like $7

I wish more drive-ins were still open, I love them better than a cramped indoor theater

I think there's one still open up in Baltimore, but I've never been to one. I've always wanted to. My dad talks about how fun they were. I can imagine my high school/college friends and I having had a lot of fun all crammed in the car in the freezing cold, passing bottles around.tongue.png But then I think about all that hot breaf and people passing gas and stuff, and I'm like: nah-o.gif

Today is the last day of the season for the one in my town. It's a great place to go to watch movies, good food, good movies, the works

Do the waitresses still go around on roller skates? What state are you in, if you don't mind me asking?

SFK, I HAVE heard that there's one in Baltimore, or near there at least, but I haven't been there. Maybe when I come back to Maryland in a few weeks, I should consider checking it out.

For some reason, I remember reading somewhere that New Jersey has the most drive in theaters still operating now. That or they were created there, I can't remember  .

I would like for them to come back, but I can also imagine the stuff that would happen if they came back here in STL. But...those were the days.

We still have them in Kansas City, 3 of them actually!! There used to be alot more, I've seen quite a few movies at the I-70 drive in, which still is open... I saw Logan's Run, Superfuzz, and the original Star Wars there!

we have two on my town, but i never go. I do not enjoy going at all. I prefer the comfort, look and sound of a move theater.

We did go in high school a lot though, so we could drink mostly.

I don't miss regular theaters the talking, cell phones, etc....drive-ins you don't have to worry about that unless it's your own cell phone :P

Anyone ever been to one, or live where there is still active drive-ins?

We have a great one in my town, it's like $7 for a double feature. It's quite the experience, there's nothing like it.
