CL was good but I think YG let her down with the staging. There wasn't as much inventiveness in using the space as there was with EXO and the gong dance/jeeps entrance. I sort of wish Dara, Minzy and Bom had popped out like they did at the MAMAs a few years ago.

YG stays ignoring CL and mismanaging her. I heard the company has gone downhill and is no longer #2 ranked in Korea. They are completely incompetent at promoting any of their acts. CL has the material but they are not letting her release it.

@Cat SHINee made their debut as a quartet. The song is good and I hope they have success but its bittersweet that Jonghyun isnt there. Im glad they didnt go for a dance bp but Im also glad it isnt a straight melody. Its in between which feels more appropriate. Not too upbeat but not depressing.

Image result for shinee good evening

Onew and Key's hair are tragic

Thanks for posting this! I too am glad the song isn't a dance track or a sad ballad. It also sounds quite 'Shinee'. However, it is bittersweet seeing them as a four. I hope this song and album gets lots of sales and downloads because I want Shinee to continue in its success! However, I did take a deep breath before playing the mv, because the loss of Jonghyun is still very much felt. You can sense it among the members too.

Key and Onew's hair are sf tragic. I hate that Onew got the Ronald McDonald Orange -- how is this a good look on anybody?? Onew's dark, floppy, longish hair before this aberration made him look beautiful and they should have kept to that.

Poor Key always gets the extra-extra look. /sigh

I like BLACKPINK. I hacent been checking for them in a while bc YG wasnt doing anything with them. Glad to see they are finally putting out new usic.

Ive been listening to SHINee's new music alot recently. They released the 2nd half of their album last week. One of my favorite songs on the whole thing is All Day, All Night, which they have been performing

Wow, cant beleive its their 10 year anniversary. They still look young even though you got Onew near 30

Third part comes out next week

I can't believe it either. Onew is almost 30? He looks 20. BTW thank you for posting that song. I really, REALLY like it. Makes me want to check out the full album (or at least what is out so far).

Love the choreo of their live performance too.

@Faulkner @Cheap21 EXO just release a new album, and their comeback single is Tempo.

I have put a fancam of Kai doing the choreo to Tempo at the showcase, just because I think it is an incredible cam of one of the best dancers in kpop at the top of his game. You can really see the choreo with this, and his moves are so sharp and strong:

And here is the official mv:

I love the performance levels in kpop. I mean, it comes at a high price: these kids are literal slaves to the work. But my god, they come up with some amazing performances. I am a dance buff and have a real fondness for the stand-out dancers in kpop groups. EXO Kai is my favourite out of them all. Not just for his technique, but for the joy and passion that emanate from him when he performs. It's the same with a real great vocalist (like D.O.) and his vocal ad libs.

My favorite moments are with Erika and then Robin and Tim Stickney around 7/8 minutes. There are also little yellow bumper moments with the crew, which I enjoy more than the real ones.
    • I think in the long run they can probably get more out of Gio, even though I know GM probably won't be around long enough for it to matter. The show has a real problem on how to handle Nik in future, which affected Spencer. Laura is moribund and her role in Spencer's story didn't do her many favors. They would have kept Esme around even longer. A lot of Sprina fans would have hated GM as he was replacing NAC. And even the fans who did accept him wouldn't have mattered because Frank likely would have split that relationship up ASAP. There's a good chance we'd get a Spencer/Emma pairing, only with Emma and the actress playing her getting dragged on social media every day and with people calling her a racist.
    • I like the pool set as well.  It's something different, guys and girls in skimpy clothes and all that.  I dislike when they have characters in full on business attire having meetings there though.  That seems silly. The pool depth is also ridiculous.  They should just have characters sitting on the side with their feet in the pool if they can't shoot it correctly.
    • I also assumed Tanquir was in Africa. Montega was in the Caribbean, more like Cuba.
    • I got the impression Andre was opening up to Dani about his feelings, that's why I thought he was about to admit he was in love with her. Dani has no idea that what's good for her is right in front of her face. Tomorrow we might get a love scene set to an R&B slow jam.
    • No, he was pining for that walking sleeping pill Ashley, and then later texted Dani for a hookup when he felt lonely. He and Dani got into it a bit as she’s not ready to be seen openly with him still, and they both realized they were hung up on other people - Andre on Ashley (thought he never said her name) and especially Dani on Bill.  Of course neither learnt anything and then proceeded to have sex again.
    • I'm glad there's a pool set if only for the eye candy. I do think they need to be careful when filming. Today, the direction was off with Kai in the pool -- it looked like he was sitting in a wading pool, and it was clear there was no depth to the water. Also, as I mentioned before, the view from those large windows looks fake as hell.
    • From my notes: San Cristobal with an “a” is from ANOTHER WORLD. Mac, Carl, their fathers, Ian Rains & his father, and Paulina had history on that equatorial island. Paulina was visiting there researching her past & fell for both Ian & Jake McKinnon! San Cristobel with an “e” is from GUIDING LIGHT and is the island kingdom where Prince Richard & Prince Edmund were from. Others with history there were Reva when she was Princess Katherine, Jonathan, Olivia, etc.
    • Schenkel was indeed a disaster.     During 1985, the following characters exited the show: Brian Bancroft, Sandy Cory, Blaine Ewing Cory, Jamie Frame, the first Peter Love, Alice Matthews Frame, Ben McKinnon, Vince McKinnon, Mark Singleton, Perry Hutchins, Grant Todd, and Tony the Tuna.   The following characters were introduced and quickly disappeared Chris Chapin, Neal Cory, Dee Evans, Daniel Gabriel, Michaud Christophe, Edward Gerard, Daphne Grimaldi, Zane Lindquist, and Brittany Peterson.   The only successful characters Schenkel introduced were Bridget Connell, Vicky Hudson, and Jake McKinnon.   Schenkel recasted the popular Sally Frame with Taylor Miller when Mary Page Keller left AW.  Also, he recasted Peter Love twice in 1985 with Christopher Holder and Marcus Smythe.   Schenkel brought back Carl Hutchins for the Egyptian/Arizona treasure story with the poisonous dust.
