I enjoy Elementary and last night's episode was the best so far, I'm not surprised by it's drop. They need to make it more "Sherlocky", right now there isn't a whole lot of difference between Elementary and The Mentalist. First they need an actual supporting cast. It's mainly just Sherlock and Joan. Second, they need to cast Moriarty and third they need to draw more from the source material. I don't think any of crimes so far are ones from the books. They need to adapt some of the books to the universe they set up on this show.

I said that ABC should have rethought it's comedy block and looks like I was right. Three comedies blocks the same hour is too much. One of the three (ABC, FOX or NBC) needs to blink and move theirs.

Also looks like CBS may have given Vegas a full season order too quickly, a 1.6 is NOT good.

I just want Happy Endings back after Modern Family. Sure they lost a lot after Modern Family but I remember them getting into the 3's. They just needed time to build a fanbase instead of moving it around.

Maybe X-Factor hurt it for the 1st half hour? But you would think they'd have totally different demographics.
