God, his tweets are down right embarrassing. I don't usually read them. Unbelievable how he talks back to people on there and keeps the arguments going like its fun for him. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! He's the absolute WORST. [!@#$%^&*] him for treating GH and the fans who don't like the crap he's shoveling out like toys.

IDC!

This is the same garbage which soap hacks used to say in the 90s - look at where it got them.

And now we've hit the emotional blackmail portion of our program. ("If you really loved me you'd agree to a threesome!")

That's right Ron, it's the viewers' fault they don't get your epic genius.

I've been a Sam hater since she set foot onto GH, liked her for 5 seconds when she was with Sonny...lol

Oh jeeze another vampire comment from Luke to Duke.

Duke is acting like Faison with his creepy obsessivness over Anna.

And what is a person who watched the show for years and finally turned it off because of how terrible it is, a never was?

Oh and if I were into twitter, he would probably end up blocking me. I would start with the qualifications of a good writer.

Ugh the look on her face when she says "David" makes me feel so sad. I loved them together.

and down she goes! Surprised she got up bc she took a hard hit to the head on her way down

Dare I hope that this means the end of that hackneyed character?

I liked KM on Port Charles and I think she gets a bad rap sometimes for being seen as too reserved or phoning it in - that's probably what you have to be with Sam anyway.

This pretty much sums up why I preferred KM as Livvie over Sam, even though she's played the latter role for far longer.

Ron is better off paying attention to viewers who aren't drunk off the Guza Kool-Aid instead of wasting his time trying to reason with those who are full of that stuff. wink.png

And that's the problem with the "real fan" bullshit. It turns the writer into a martyr and the viewer into the enemy. The viewer is the customer. Without them you don't have a show, you have fan fiction.

This is probably a great discussion for another thread. Take that as my big hint to you that you need your own thread because I swear you are topic rich.

I am right there with you on this....OTOH, I don't get when people threaten to stop watching a show because I'm like the old Nike motto--Just Do It.

I know we're talking about people who just don't want to let go because of the attachment but I'm not up for giving some silly writer drug dealer power over me. I've watched really bad soap like a junkie and then quit cold turkey. I didn't think of asking Mr. Pusherman to fix it because that was giving him all the power when it needed to be mine. Warning him I was about to quit would only strengthen him.

Typically, these writers are supposed to look at the numbers, read the non-gushing feedback, and try to get an understanding of what's not working and fix it. But instead they're telling viewers suck it up and be true fans. I used to love the Dallas Cowboys and now I don't. People can use that true fan business on someone else. I'm not under the spell of hypnosis or the power of ridiculous suggestions.
