Khan posted some great DAYS 1985 montages last week, and I thought we could have a thread for our favorite montages.

Mine (it's near the end of the clip - some parts are cut out, but the bulk is there). The cut out parts involved Matthew/Josie. I wish the whole thing was up, but better than nothing.

I'd totally forgotten that. I'd forgotten A Martinez was even on GH by then. Using that beautiful Judy Collins cover for THAT...no no no.

I know GH had all those montages people ate up. I think people loved the one where Brenda was in the shower.

That's the Lullaby Montage, which proved that Claire Labine could be as Guza as Guza himself when she wanted....

I will say though, GH probably used pop music better as incidental music in the mid/late 90's/early 00's than the other soaps. I miss the days when soaps could afford to use music that's actually popular from real pop artists.

Meh. It's a'ight as far as montages go.

Agreed...really well done, from a time when the soap was not so great. I love the look when Brooke (who would leave the show later that year) turns around and her face lights up from the explosion.
