Marc Berman needs to stop posting the 56-metered markets ratings. Why? Because they don't matter and they don't foreshadow the weekly ratings at all - that hoopla about GH's 56-metered markets ratings was all for nothing.

Yeah, that's the good news. If the stupid metered market ratings weren't release and got all that hoopla, I would've been satisfied with these small drops. My expectations soared because of those MM ratings. Now I know better to not trust them.

I think that's because nobody knew because never see the MM ratings for soaps.

Whatever B&B's doing, it's working. I wasn't watching last year, but for some reason I am this year. Maybe it's because there's only 4 left and quite honestly it's the only solid soap currently. GH and DAYS have ups and downs, and Y&R is a hot ass mess. But as has been discussed in other threads, the fan enthusiasm just isn't there for B&B. It's an international success, but in the U.S. it's the overlooked soap that's done so well mostly because of its Y&R lead-in.

It's called Steffy/Liam/Hope. Onliners might hate this triangle (I don't, I love it), but it's clearly working for offliners/nielsen viewers. Brad Bell even admitted to it and that's why they're constantly on.
