The writer was the one who wanted the role to be recast. He still had plans for the character that he kept talking about just not with her in the role but there was no bashing of GW. Jill didn't owe her entitled ass anything, not an apology, not an explanation, and not a boquet of flowers. She owed her nothing but tough love that's how the business works. Had she stayed on her nice size she would've probably gotten a small role on HH instead of still trying to get back on GH on her own terms.

JFP made the correct decision. Once again this is the same situation as Debbi Morgan. Genie Francis is an iconic actress with a lot talent in the right role. However Genevieve was an atrociously over the top character. The character was written abysmally. And Genie did not act well in the role. It was a failure across the board. I hope this means that Cane will also leave town. Cane and his family have been a flop. So they all need to go. I do hope Genie will end up going back to GH with a better written Laura.

I hope MAB is happy with herself and her "accomplishments" at Y&R, because these are the kinds of fans she attracted to the show -- and trust me, as a disgruntled former GUIDING LIGHT fan, when I say: they Never. Go. Away. :(

"Trouble" is putting it lightly, lovely. In fact, I think protective orders were involved. On both sides.

And as for Jammy...well, they weren't as bad as Mannyacs/Phannyacs, I'll give them that much. Of course, once you've dealt with fans who go to the trouble of making voodoo dolls and then showing them to actors at public appearances, there's really nowhere else to go but up.

Now, if you want to talk about rabid fan bases who get under my skin to this day, then let's talk about the GusHers (again, from GL). Sure, the Mannyacs often acted like the psycho nanny/neighbor/co-worker in a Lifetime original movie; but some of those GusHers...! I actually had to go to God on those arrogant, passive-aggressive bitches. No lie.
