The thing is there is nothing to dismantle. The show is worse off than ATWT WAS WHEN IT WAS CANCELLED. I tuned in the other day and had no clue who 99%of the people were that were on.

Internet criticism is more direct, but fan anger has always been there. Y&R was known during most of Bill Bell's era for having fans who were usually very patient and not interested in one big couple or one big story or one big character.

Only in the last 5-10 years has this changed, and MAB did nothing to make it better. She pitted fan bases against each other, she antagonized.

He's waiting for final word from Kristian Alfonso.

Funny thing was Bell did write the show well into the internet era and even if he had been able to keep writing into the 00s I highly suspect he would have handled the net quite well and criticism with class and dignity unlike others as he had done the first 25 years. And Bell admitted his mistakes too.

I like Linda, and it used to be said that she was the only soap actor friends with someone at all the soaps, even before ABC tried to shoehorn her into all their soaps...
