Well that wouldn't be hard as Y&R writing is abysmal. But I'm sorry BTG doesn't need to import characters from other shows-they've got plenty going on.
And Bryton/Devon has always been boring under every Y&R writing team.

-- I don't blame Jeremy for being upset with Chad for saying he "hoped" Jeremy was innocent. Chad couldn't tell that Jeremy wanted to be believed?
-- If this week's scenes were built Flynn's goodbyes, he did a good job with everyone.
-- The Leo confessional to Marlena about Dimitri made me GAG.
-- Those Marlena/Maggie/Julie scenes were hard to watch. Dee Hall looked at Suzanne Rogers one time for 2 seconds. The rest of the time, she acted like she was alone with SSH.
I thought Rogers tried to engage Hall and make the scenes work, but there's so much you can do when one person is behaving like a bitch.

Yes, but fortunately, not always. It's a shame that Guiding Light didn't pull a Capitol. The last scene should have been a blindfolded, ex-princess Reva facing a firing squad. That would have been my happy ending.

DAYS/Y&R: Casting Shocker!!

Carlivati was fired in summer '15. Passanante and co. took over in late summer-early fall IIRC, and the first order of business from the network was to wrap up the endlessly prolonged Robin saga (in which RC circa 2012 had faked Robin's death after Kimberly McCullough chose to quit during the Garin Wolf mess, then had her rescued in '13 and immediately had her forced back into captivity again in early 2014) due to fan outrage. Patrick saved Robin in late '15 and they left Port Charles with Emma very early in 2016 IIRC. Not long after JT joined Y&R. Anyway, we're far afield.

Not a CoHo fan I see. I didn't mind Verity, though her book Layla was absolutely bonkers. That book made me look at the movie Ghost in a completely different way.

I never thought of them as casual either. I wish she'd had some. I guess the idea was meant to be she was always looking for the love of her life. Philip and Reva having a fling during Bolger's run would have been interesting, as India would have hired a hitman.
Josh and Reva reuniting didn't surprise me as they always got back together, although Jeffrey returning and Reva being torn might have been a "soapier" ending. I might have had a house fall on Jeffrey as he showed up though...

Yes, Reva was always looking for what she could get from a guy. What he could do for her. Vanessa used to chide Alan about it all the time. She had Reva's number.
I don't think it was always about money for her (though it DID help). Stability is a good way of putting it, though in the end she never seemed to find it.
That's the kind of pandering shows frequently do at the end. Doesn't matter how toxic the relationship, they're convinced (and they're not entirely wrong) that the audience craves a happily ever after.
