I don't get the animosity toward Kelly anymore than I do over Becky or Laura or Kimberly or anyone. I'm not sure why she is a "mess". Because she posed for playboy? No one knows anymore about her than they do any of the rest of them.

I'm not going to go into detail, but I have a problem with anybody who encourages his or her fans to be so rabid they would happily tear off people's faces for them.

Doesn't sound like encouragement to me. Just someone acknowledging how loyal their fans are. I always thought many had a problem with Kelly because Liason were axed in favor of Jasam. Hope I didn't start something.

Your opinion. Mine differs rather drastically. It's not a one-time thing; it's part of a pattern that does not impress me as being healthy or normal.

ETA: I don't think that Liason/JaSam thing exists much any more. The former Liason fans I knew don't want them together now.

Thank you. While I cannot claim to be an Elizabeth fan and I don't begrudge anyone their hatred of her or any other character, I think it's over the top. I realize that people hate her for seemingly breaking up their idyllic Jason and Sam greatest love story ever and some Lucky lovers see her as ruining the GV version, and now she's the worst mother of all time but it is a bit much no matter how it all started again. I was tired of hearing about how "skanky Liz" during that tiresome we can't be together because it's dangerous for Jake s/l. Jake was killed for Jason and Sam so I don't need to read or hear anything about how Elizabeth is a terrible mother.

RH has been unfairly treated in terms of s/l for years and a character with soap heroine potential has been sacrificed on the altar of Jason and Sam because of it.

You're lucky that I wasn't here a decade ago, as I really hated Liz at the time. Now I just don't care. The show has dumped on her for a long, long time, so any issues I had with her are mostly gone.

I must've been having flashbacks to a specific poster who used to rag on her constantly over Lucky and over Jason and Sam. I do recall that you liked Jason and Sam but I thought you wanted better for her after that. I don't like Sam and probably never will but I wish her character was written with more self respect than to have taken Jason back after he threatened to kill her. I've never been fond of Jason Morgan and thought it would be good if they eventually knocked him on the head and made him Jason Quartermaine again, but I still have to admit that the pre-Carly Jason Morgan was infinitely more tolerable and pleasant than post-Carly. This one character is brought onto the show and they use her to single handedly destroy what was left of A.J., Tony, Jason and the relationship that Jason and Robin had.

Anytime I think of what this show once was and what it has become, it's like seeing a once vibrant person on life support remaining a shell of a human being until someone decides to pull the plug. I used to think (as I also did with OLTL) that one day better writers would come along and somehow fix the show, but I now figure that it's going to become more and more of a shell until the plug is pulled.
