Gregg Marx's last story on ATWT was the VERY unpopular decision to have Tom and Margo suffer another miscarriage. The story was just about unbearable. Marx was superb - you can see why he won an Emmy (in the days when they actually meant something).

Yes that's the one. The tape was recored when Kate paid Roberto to confess to Franco's murder. Roberto's ex Anglea got it when Roberto died. Brandon married Angela to get the tape but Angela's father Vincent took it and made a deal with Kate that she would get it if he got back a territory that Victor stole from him years ago. Before she died, Anglea got Vincent to give the tape to Brandon. He and Sami used it to blackmail Lucas to sign over custody of Will to Sami. They made some contract where they agreed that the taped would be locked up in some safe and would remain there as long as Sami had custody of Will.

Yes, before Sami was about to marry Austin in Vegas, Lucas recored her saying she lied about him hitting Will. Victor got the tape and he used it to force Sami to break it off with Brandon.

I was just pointing out the irony that when Amanda Baker played Babe, the character seemed so much classier and softer than Babe was ever supposed to be (because ya, she was so trashy like Krystal when Alexa Havins played her, but I thought she and BE played the hell out of the roles).

IA that Kyle Brandt significantly improved at the end of his run, but I thought the entire show, in all aspects (acting, production, everything), improved tenfold the second Beth Milstein showed up in the credits instead of JER. Matt Ashford, Missy Reeves, Austin Peck, and Christie Clark also did great work around this time for their exit stories. However, I was so burnt out on Jason Cook at this time that I can't say anything too complementary about his exit work, or the horrifying Farah Fath (who should've just left with Philip or something). Brody Hutzler even stepped up his game around this time, and Judi Evans, though always amazing, was particularly good in Bonnie's final months (but then she came back, like, two months later as a redheaded Adrienne).
