While not as good as last week's episode, it was still better than the first 2.

I'd rather see the Momily-lite (I miss Nancy & Emily) than the double Ds. Lake & Michelle are harmless. I don't know if its their "southerness" but I doubt they'll reach Colin/Christie or Jonathan/Victoria's level of dysfunction.

Fran & Barry finally showed some Racing skills... MoJo isn't the dysfunctional couple I imagined from their pre-Race interviews... yet... (I hope not)

Ray & Yolanda seem to be just there, nothing special, but competent, almost like TAR4's David & Jeff... David & Lori seems like a team that could go far also. BJ & Tyler's "quirkiness" is starting to get a little too much.

Phil is the best. His eyebrow, his looks, him actually talking to the local greeter? The Philiminator is awesome

I am glad that Wanda and Desire are gone. They were grating my nerves, especially the daughter. She always has snide remarks. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for this year...maybe BJ and Tyler or the jocks. The teams this year are more likable except for Lake and Michelle.

I am IN LOVE with BJ and Tyler!

To the pit stop native: Hi Santa!:lol::lol:

And they speak German!!!!

I'll be pissed if Eric and Jeremy win...

This season there isn't really a dysfunctional team. Lake and Michelle bicker for about two seconds but they don't even COMPARE to wife abuser Jonathan and his wife Victoria, aka Botox.

Oh me too, about Eric and Jeremy. That would suck. They would totally throw the money away and wouldn't know how to truly use it. UGH.

I was sad to see Wanda and Desiree go but I wasn't heartbroken. I dunno, they just never really tugged at my hearstrings.

And GOOO Fran and Barry! So glad they are getting better. It could be temporary (lol) but at least they improved! And we're finally seeing a little more personality out of Ray and Yolanda. Joseph and Monica are still boring as hell.

BJ and Tyler rock. I hope they win if we have to get an alpha male team winning.

Lake and Michelle are so annoying but thank god they aren't at the level of Jonathan and Victoria, like I feared (and btw, those two are expecting a baby.. shudder).

At this point if I really had to rank the teams. I like all of them though--to certain extents...

My ranking (from who I like the most to the least)

1. BJ & Tyler

2. Eric & Jeremy

3. Ray & Yolanda

4. Monica & Joseph

5. Dani & Danielle

6. Dave & Lori

7. Fran & Barry

8. Lake & Michelle

But I guess I wouldn't mind any of them winning...minus Lake & Michelle.

Off the top of my head... I think this is the first Yield to actually play a part in the elimination of a team? Not sad that Dani² were Philiminated... they broke another TAR rule... KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A STICK! <_<

Very exciting episode. It was very satisfying seeing Lake & Michelle make so many mistakes AND Fran & Barry totally giving them the brush off  They basically told them: "Get away from me !@#$%^&*]" TWICE!

Plus BJ & Tyler had "Bowling Moms" shirts!!! How cool, they get major points for that.

Yeah, loved seeing the bowling mom shirts...

Wow, wtg Fran and Barry!!

And I was a little surprised it wasn an elimination round because usually with the yield the team that's yielded is never eliminated. Oh well.

1. Fran and Barry

2. BJ and Tyler

3. Ray and Yolanda

4. Dave and Lori

5. Eric and Jeremy

6. Joseph and Monica

7. Lake and Michelle

I just read the intro and first chapter and I'm already hooked. I know she had a co-author, but I can tell Kim is a firecracker and I'd love to have wine with her and talk sh!t haha. It makes reading the book pretty easy and entertaining. Intro - I had no idea she got a DUI! She shared 3 bottles of wine with a friend at dinner one night in LA, got in her car, was pulled over and thrown in jail overnight.  She admitted it wasn't her first time drinking and driving, but learned a valuable lesson that night. Out of the gate, she's not holding back or hiding anything. Chapter 1 - the announcement that GL was being cancelled. She was driving to Peapack and got a call from Bradley Cole who told her the news. First, that's BS that as one of the faces of GL, you hear the big news from a fellow co-star on your way to work. Granted, the "suits" were traveling to Peapack that day to tell the cast and crew, but still, seems icky. Ironically the news came on April Fools Day. Apparently that was the last day the network could decide whether to cancel or renew, but to Kim's point, couldn't they just pick the day before to avoid the callousness of the 'holiday'. Obviously a sad day in GL history. I thought it was funny, she said the one thing she thought of is "what would Susan Lucci do" in this situation, post-cancellation. And of course she said she'd "find something to hawk on the Home Shopping Network"  You all would know better than me, but part of the title of her book is "seven husbands" and in her intro, she uses Reva's full name: Reva Shayne-Lewis-Lewis-Spaulding-Lewis-Winslow-Cooper-Lewis-Lewis-O'Neill.  However, in the first chapter, she said Bradley Cole was "her 8th (or was it 9th?) husband". Well, Kim, that already contradicts the title of your book and your character's name you touted.

    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."
