Robin "didn't do much" because the idiots in charge treated her as a lower-caste character instead of the legacy character that she is. As for her being "holier than thou", with these chickenheads running around town, who could blame her?

Since Sonny hasn't been Latino since the 90s and has been written to act Eye-talian since the beginning of this century, I can see why these dimwits would believe that his daughter looked "too Latina" (even though I've no idea if the actress is even Latina). All I know is if Krustina 2.0 breaks out the Spanish, they will have a field day.

The problem is none of thes so called strong women are likable either.

There are lots of interesting complex women on,primetime who don't shreak and are good decent flawed people. But even the men suffer also. Shows can't write decent good guys anymore either or antiheroes that are actually at the heart good and decent. This isn't a case where daytime is following some sort of overall pattern of industry popularity anymore either.

Josh Kelly looked a lot better with more facial hair and in regular clothes (and less crazy eyes). OLTL by that time had such a dull, assembly line view of attractive men, sticking them in horribly fitting clothes which only emphasized the awkwardness. I remember when Cutter paraded around in underwear and all I could notice was that he had no ass. The same for melting plastic Ford.

I would want him on their as Cutter trying to scam Monica. Great idea!

Nobody is cute on GH except for maybe Brandon Barash. Steve Burton and Scott Reeves make me want to puke lol... hopefully FV brings in some beefcake soon. :)

During her time as GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kristina, Lexi Ainsworth garnered quite a following, so those fans were understandably upset to learn that the role had been recast with daytime newcomer Lindsey Morgan. Social networks exploded with outraged viewers voicing their sentiments, so Ainsworth herself took to the Internet to try and clear things up.

"Thank you guys for all your support, but I won't be reprising the role of Kristina," Ainsworth tweeted. "I loved her, but I've also loved being free to do film. I enjoyed meeting Frank [Valentini, GH's executive producer] and I know you will love the new Kristina that he has found. I learned so much from my GH home and want to grow further."

Ainsworth's former on-screen mom Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) supported the young actress. "I'll comment on 'new' Kristina after Lexi has commented," she posted to her Twitter stream. "I can tell you that Lexi is cool with it. Lexi's already got offers for many primetime projects. My sweet and brilliant Lexi has commented with class and dignity. Enough said. In a few years, I will be begging Lexi for a job in a movie as her grandmother."

When reached for comment about Ainsworth turning down the opportunity to return as Kristina, a rep for GH stated only that they "don't comment on

    • I'm not sure it's as unpopular as you think.  I just think the show knew they were in a bind, and needed a proven couple for the viewers to invest in. Trying to reunite Vanessa and Ross had just failed in 87. I don't think Ed and Holly's affair was well received, as Simon and Garrett had a brother/sister chemistry. Enter Billy and Vanessa, who give you history and an out not to try and do a Josh/Reva/Billy triangle, which would've really wrecked the relationship between Josh and Billy. I'd have been ok with trying Vanessa/Ross again, and doing a Vanessa/Ross/Holly/Billy quad for a while. I hated Nadine. HATED. She had to be the most insufferable also-ran before ATWT's Julia Lindsay. This is where I wish I knew Roger's history better.

    • GROSS. Michael Swan was hot back in his ATWT days. Now he's 76 and WAY past his hot years.
    • Since she kidnapped, locked up and tried to kill her father's wife I'd say that is still a pretty big deal
    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
    • No. There might have been a slight pause for dramatic effect after his "death," but pretty soon after they showed him in France getting plastic surgery and getting involved with his doctor, then planning with her to bring Christina to France. (She thought he had good reason to do it; she wasn't a bad person or anything). Now that I think of it, there must have been some kind of pause before that, during the 70s. Rita was accused of killing a private patient for an inheritance when she lived in Texas. Part of the backstory was that Roger had been there, too. Not sure exactly when or how long that was.
    • I've already stated that I don't like Doug being written as this meek and submissive. It was so lame watching him leave her like that. Vanessa can divorce him, but she then needs to get her thot ass into therapy. She's not only having sex with every guy she runs into, but is now having  sex with a skeevy perv on a poker table. I'm going to give the BTG some credit here. For months, many on this board were delighting in the Vanessa/Joey flirting and what they saw as chemistry. I think we're now seeing what the writers always intended -- that Joey is a disgusting POS wannabe mobster.
    • John Black actually was the ultimate good guy soap hero. So I don’t mind the town gushing over him. It’s deserved.
