Trying to catch up with season 2 so that I can get to season 3.

I find myself changing my mind about Rosie's family in this season. While Rosie is still the same slutbag annoying ho she always was, I do think they did try a lot to create a much less basic, and more complex, story for her instead of just throwing some sh!t together. Kenneth and Lucinda are nice and they are creating more layers for them all the time. Gotta say, I'm a little impressed. The central mystery, on the other hand, I do like but still feels too sidelined.

Me when we learned she was alive. That was Wednesday. I legit turned off the show bc I was so disgusted. 4 months coma? The show couldnt pick up right where last season ended so we could be without her for 4 months?

Im glad Pablo's dead but I didnt like how they treated it like comedy.

Naya Rivera's new face is so distracting

YAY to Taylor being back. Love Brianna Brown. Her daughter is scary. Of course there is now a murder mystery. Three seasons in a row and we get this in the premiere

Evelyn looked hot! Love her hair long and down. I swear that dominatrix that appeared was Scarlet Johansen's sister

Working my way through season 2. Everything is coming together so nicely with various storylines colliding. I'm immensely enjoying Zoila/Genevieve/Javier, Tony and Evelyn's affair, Ty and Carmen. Opal kind of bores the hell out of me, although in general the Nick story is all right. Finally Rosie got a clue when she realized Reggie is up to no good. She also needs to start spanking that nasty brat Miguel and keep doing it. Gag at the Rosie/Spence angst. I wonder what Tony's up to.

The killer twist came out of nowhere and I hated it. I liked Carmon and Sebastian and now all of a sudden he's a psychopath? WTF?!? Awful

Carmen had her hands cuffed in the front....why the hell didnt she just uncuff Marisol and escape when Sebastian left the room. Marisol acts like she couldnt just walk off that couch. That fake chain was so long

Zoila and Genevive are such a good couple. Love their friendship. WTF though with the doctor asking Gen about how to proceed with her treatment when she isnt family

Perry is back! I missed her all season. This twist is basic though although I will like seeing Hosie tortured

    • Another time when some fans have an idea that the show is very unlikely to share. LOL! Exception for last year when they *almost* did off Ava. But, then, does almost count? This version of Love2Hate Drew is not going anywhere. Since Frank is not going to authorize a murder or killing there can't be a mystery whodunnit because it's not getting dun.  Edit to add: IMO, of course. I'm much more interested in whether we are getting Dark Michael?
    • Yeah but what will happen to Gilberta
    • No one asked for this, just like no one asked for the Little House reboot.
    •   you made me laugh.  They haven't found a network for this potential reboot but yeah. GreatAmericanFamily/Pureflix is where producers go who feel that Hallmark is too diverse.
    • Oh? Novels you say? Intriguing. Some would say the header might have been a sign it could be a bad episode.     I don't think I was as bored as everyone else with this episode, but I'll see how I feel after a rewatch.   Heck, the actor playing Tomas even showed up and seem more comfortable. Actually so did the actor playing Derek.
    • High praise.   At last...?   *cough*CVE*cough*
    • I had to stop watching early last week because I could not tolerate another interminable scene of Genie Francis valiantly attempting to keep pace opposite a disillusioned and confused Maurice Benard. Nevermind that the scenes largely consisted of Laura kissing the ring for some godforsaken reason, how is his performance acceptable? He’s painful to watch.
    • Apparently Jake Tapper was supposed to be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight to pimp his book of lies. That appearance was canceled. https://latenighter.com/news/jimmy-kimmel-live-cancels-monday-night-taping/
    • I was obsessed with the original Party of Five, it used to be one of my  favorite primetime soaps.  In my mind, Neve Campbell is "the star of Party of Five" - I've never seen the Scream movies. So I watched the reboot with great attention. I kept comparing and contrasting each reboot sibling with the original.  Lacey Chabert's character in the original was a precocious child who played the violin.  Her counterpart in the reboot was also smart but she danced. Not quite the same.  Neve Campbell's teen character in the original was a moody student, and her teen counterpart in the reboot became politically active and tried to help other teens that had immigration issues.  Etc.   I knew all the secondary characters in the original, and kept waiting to see if they'd have counterparts in the reboot. Some of that compare/contrast stuff was distracting to me at first, but ... eventually I realized that the reboot was a completely different show, and I came to embrace it for what it was, and let go of my comparisons.  I felt that the reboot existed as its own separate identity, and there was no need to be familiar with the original at all.  Other than the ages of the five siblings and the restaurant, the reboot had very little in common with the original. The reboot was a good show by itself and I liked it, and was disappointed that it was cancelled.
