Members alphanguy74
That song he sang on the Brady Bunch episode sucked. His single from that album "Rainy Jane" was also pretty bad.... I have the album, and they picked the WORST songs on it for the singles. This is the song from his 1971 solo album that should have been the single: Please register in order to view this content

Members DRW50
Yes. That one was notorious, along with the "What About the Children" from the next season.
Members SFK
I'm sorry Davy, I don't mean to take from your day, but that was just so hilarious I thought I'd lighten the mood.
Members dragonflies
I never knew David Bowie's real name was David Jones, and that Davy Jones being famous at the time is why he changed it to David Bowie

Members alphanguy74
The Monkees did so many cool things, their movie "Head" is something I still can't quite figure out, but half the movie is a magic mushroom trip, this clip is just wild, and always been one of my favorites (Peter Tork sings the lead on this particular song) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mFmgdGJ19A

Members SFK
Wow, at first I thought this was going to be a more recent video with a Beatlemania-type band.
Members DaytimeFan
How sad, 66 is too young to die and for a man who was so bright and happy go lucky. Terrible.
Members Eric83
I remember I used to love their show when I was little and remember getting them confused with the Beatles and thinking they were just as big as the Beatles in their hayday. the Brady Bunch episode with him was one of my faves as well. RIP. I don't get Antenna TV so I hope TVLand does something.

Members DRW50
I enjoyed that episode but I had forgotten about the track suit and the mullet! That's so 80's, all he needed was gold chains.
Members All My Shadows
So sad I actually sort of associate him with the Brady Bunch episode more than I do with The Monkees, but I like him on that, too. Antenna TV is already running a short little memorial message during commercial breaks. TV Land used to do things like that, even if they didn't have plans to do a marathon or anything, but I guess that's really not their concern anymore.
