That's been a not so secret secret for a while now, but kudos to him for not trying to hide in plain sight, especially since rumor has it being gay is why he didn't get the Superman role back in 2003.

Very glad he finally felt comfortable to come out. And he's hot as hell to boot ...

He is beautiful. That's one of the reasons I wasn't as annoyed as I should have been at the awful writing he had when he joined GL. I'm glad he's gone on from that with a good career.

There were photos of him making out with his boyfriend online years ago. It was pretty much a Neil Patrick Harris thing where people in the industry knew, it just wasn't "officially" said until rumors started making the mainstream.

Uh, who didnt know this lol. I knew he was gay when he showed up on SoapTalk with some heavy duty makeup on lol.

Glad he made it official!

Patiently waiting on Mark Collier lol.

Even when the rumors hit they seemed to keep quiet. I am kind of surprised he said anything at all, since Hollywood means you can't ever say the word, or else.

I guess this makes his being in a poorly photographed People's Sexiest Man cover is even less likely.

I think that was actually because Brian Singer replaced the director who wanted Bomer.

Yeah & he left GL early for Superman & they ruined Ben in the process. I wonder if thats a regret he has

  • Member

They probably would have ruined Ben anyway, as they clearly had some love for Marty West/Shayne.

Huh? Didnt he come out YEARS ago. This wasnt even a secret. I thought it was well known for at least 5 years. When was he on AMC and who did he play?

I love the sensational thread titles. "GH Alum DIES!" or "AMC alum COMES OUT!" And then I click on the thread and it's nothing but a dayplayer who portrayed a forgettable character a decade or three ago.

Matt was only on AMC a few days but it was for a major story playing Bink's ex GF, Sarah's fiance and then he was on GL for 2 years as Ben Warren. Plus I consider any actor who spent one day or 40 years on a show a alum once they leave said show.
