Members Cheap21
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Adam will be taking a stroll down memory lane during February Sweeps... which means that viewers will be treated to an appearance by Signy Coleman as the character's late mother, Hope! Look for Coleman to appear on Friday, February 17. Victor's ex-wife was last seen in December 2010 when Hope's spirit guided him through the soap's A Christmas Carol-themed episode. http://cbs.soapsindepth.com/2012/01/coleman-returns-to-yr.html#more

Members yr9190
I bet that she's not even gonna really come back. They are just going to show flashbacks of Hope...
Members DRW50
Hope's corpse is being flogged again to get Adam pity points They have Adam do awful things but always need to remind us he's the victim. Hope is worthless now thanks to them.
Members Michael
I'm surprised they've even used Coleman to portray Hope's ghost. I keep expecting to see something like "Joanna Kerns IN as Hope Newman!"
Members AMCHistory
Why they killed off Hope in the first place is beyond me. Signy was so powerful in those death scenes that introduced us to Adam Wilson Newman #1. Imagine how much more interesting these stories would have been if Hope had been there, not a figure of imagination in Victor or Adam's mind, rather as a real person who could would work fruitlessly not to loose the son she spent so many years protecting from the inevitable lifestyle he fell into. It would be fun nurture v. nature storyline. How funny would it have been had Vincent Irizarry and Signy been on Y&R at the same time in 2007.
