I was just listening to the entire faces of the hearts music that Dave Koz did for General Hospital and began to wonder how many people would like the show to bring back that opening in 2012. It was one of the best soap openings and would like to see to what other people think. I know this has been done before but just a few thoughts is all. Here is the full verizon of the song.

Um no. I think the current opening is just fine as it is. That 90s opening was representative of that time period and current GH is an abomination. I wouldnt mind the old theme song but definetly not the old opening

I would go with the current opening but the old theme song. To me it fits the shows better then the current one but I agree the new opening is good.

I detest the bad CGI in the current opening. That Castelvania shot still haunts me.

Folks have been bringing this up a lot lately, I wonder what's got everyone so nostalgic. The slow version in particular is one of the most beautiful soap themes ever, so lush and soulful.

Scrap the opening they have, bring back this song, and some semblance of a decent opening, GH's is an abomination, KMo looks like she's bored out of her mind in it, Tony Geary smirking makes me want to smack it off his face.

I have been thinking that GH is going to be like DOOL. The final soap to air on ABC for a few years especially since Frons is gone. It would be great to see it last since OLTL finishes up next week.

Yeah I doubt that very much, GH is done this year, no way it's going another few years.

I think GH has the worst opening of all soaps currently, even AMC's and OLTL's were better, well AMC's was till that last abomination last December when they updated it

Faces Of The Heart is a little too melancholy for my taste. It is ok but it is just a mopey riff on Autumn Breeze. You can hear where they base the beginning notes on it. Autumn Breeze however has such a big finish, it is like you are getting the overture to a really big show.
