I am sure he is. I feel like the potential of stories is there but then I felt that with the Madison/Kate story and the election storyline both which are duds. The AbbyAustin thing could be an interesting sort of fatal attraction thing if you know Austin was actually interesting or sexy and will's storyline still looks to be the most promising.

I have to believe DOOL's budget is way up. Of all the people let go, Crystal Chappell had to be the only one making big bucks and she wasn\t used extensively where the DH's, MA and yes that horrible Patrick Muldoon and soon to be Lisa Rinna and Bryan Datillo are not cheap. I don't know how much was saved by firing Tomlin and replacing him with 2 producers or firing Higley and hiring 2 writers to replace her. I do think they have let go some of their scriptwriters and someone said that they thought the Cullitons were on their way out. Maybe its all been a wash.

Guys, Don't blame MarDar. They didn't ruined the ratings, Higley/Tomlin ARE the ones who ruined the ratings. MarDar are trying so hard trying to revive the ratings and writing the stories good and watchable. It takes time to revive the ratings. I have high hopes for these new writers. However, if Sheri Anderson joined as Co-Headwriters, it would've been a perfect writing team.

Sorry for my english though.

Guys it doesn't matter about GH/DAYS anymore. They are both ARE DEAD and considering the new press release of the show I can't name in this post which is doing unbelievably well and nowhere near the disaster soap fans made it out to be. This genre is finished done stick a fork in it ITS DONE. The new wave of soaps are the Kardashians, Jersey Shore, Housewives, Mob Wives. We have to stop living in denial and start moving on that this genre is over. The current economy and today's costs stuck a fork in this genre. How can anyone justify keeping soaps on the air when cheaper shows are doing the same numbers on much lower budgets? Its BASIC BUSINESS 101 we sometimes forget as we put out emotions into this and not realize the right business decisions were made in cancelling these shows unfortunately.

We are just discussing Days woes. We know the soaps are toast. We've known that since GL was cancelled. Its just funny how MarDar made it sound like they were the second coming..and they have totally flopped.

    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.

    • The counts seem small even for B&B. Thanks for posting!
    • Sooo Nick is inviting Sharon to France for this Dumas party thing. The same place they reconnected years ago during the Shick/Phick years. I wonder if it’s going to be on location? I’m going to assume not. I’m sure Y&R doesn’t have that kind of budget anymore.
    • Agree. The catfights at the clothing store alone...lol.   That's how I feel about Teresa as well. Cheryl I feel seems to blend much better with Sara's breakdowns, but I definitely love her dialogue no matter who she is with.  They also forget replies about missing plot points and theories about why they might be missing so...   YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS   Oh how that scene lives rent free in my head and when it pops up online I will always watch.
