There should be enough to rank them past a certain point - Joey with Chris McKenna on (the only great Joey anyway, IMO), and then Kevin with Vipond or Thrower, whichever came first.

Kevin Stapleton (#3) was praised and inexplicably let go (well, not quite ineplicably, right Jill?). I liked him, but did find his smartassery a little obnoxious. I also don't think Jack Armstrong (#4) was horrible, but perhaps ineffectual as Kevin and better suited as a Powell-like Lord cousin/frat brother (he was very "TSJ as Kevin" in terms of looks and demeanor). I liked Kirk Geiger (#1), good actor, solid yet flawed Kevin who had great stuff to play. Tim Gibbs (#5) was too gruff and angry. Dan Gautier (#2) hit the right notes, he seemed to possess the best qualities of various Kevins before him. Kenitzer (#6) epitomized everything that's wrong with vapid, "learn on the job" soap opera casting. Don't know enough about the prior Kevins.

Geiger looks more Geico Gecko in that pic, and that's not a very flattering pic of Armstrong. Kenitzer looks girl pretty. I only know the first two there from YouTube clips, them and the child Kevin. I just read that one of the kid Kevins was Jonathan Brandis.

Is there enough bandwidth to rank the Kevins and Joeys? They have to be the two most recast characters in soap history.

Not if ATWTers start ranking the Tom's and Chris'.
