For AMS:

Every disc is full of unforgettable moments, from the infamous John-and-Lucinda hot tub scene to the devastating boathouse explosion, from Luke courageously coming out to his parents to Lily finally discovering the truth about hers. And of course, no collection is complete without, "Hello, Barbara."

LOL. i know you are. I was going to buy it but none of them interest me. What years are they going to feat? Depending on that then I might bite. Also I am all for AW. Esp vintage years. Im glad PnG is taking an interest in this kind of thing. They have finally heard our voices. I would love for some EON to come out.

If you dont buy the ATWT one you wont get the AW or EON ones. ATWT has to sell well so we can see more of it and other P&G soaps.

The Lily finding out Iva is her mother is from 1985.

The John & Lucinda one is from the 85 or 87...not too sure.

The Barbara and James one is from 80's too.

The others werent mentioned..except for Luke coming out but that is a most recent episode.

Thanks for finding that. Of these the only one I haven't seen is the 1979 episode. At least these will be available together on a disc now. That's nice. Hopefully there will be enough of a response to release more.

I also think they should consider having intros or quick interviews with some of the cast members, like Don Hastings, Kathryn Hays, or, if they are willing, Martha Byrne, Lisa Brown, Jon Hensley, eyc.

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!

    • Bill and Hayley’s living room set should be redressed as their bedroom. We’ve not seen their gorgeous circular entry way set since the first week? Why not utilise that more and build them a living room off those double doors? The hotel room also doesn’t have a bed? Does only Dani have a bedroom?
    • as posted upthread, this interview was on that channel's youtube   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLraEMlqtTw

    • @Paul Raven thank you for the synopsis! I enjoy reading these before dozing off for the night. That aside, this Charles character sounds like a horror, just reading about him. I can only imagine how he was watching in real time. But it is intriguing to, as I wish there were more clips of LOL out there besides the one episode from this era that I've seen, which is the one of Cal getting in the car wreck.
