I think AMC must have hired the hair stylist from Y&R because that show has some of the worst hair I have ever seen

I think they ran out of budget for hair and now everyone is borrowing Debbi and Darnell hair product. You can't put that stuff on white hair.

Seriously though, if JY was working two jobs at this time he probably just wants them to slick it back. He has two sets of hairstylists working on it. That's a lot of abuse.

Ugh, I hate the Canadian network that airs AMC. They now are taking a commercial break right after the opening credits, just like ABC used to years ago. Remember that guy "All My Children, brought to you by...." but as a result it puts me behind you Americans by 2 and a half minutes tongue.png

This is because AMC is now part of the re-branded CTV TWO instead of A Channel or whatever--and for some reason CTV always airs soaps this way--with a break right after the credits. I know it's a minor thing but I *hate* it too (I've noticed to make up for it they now have the last 'act" segue right into the end credits bah--isn't it more work ofr them to edit it like this?)

Ummm David I doubt your father is...up there. I'm pretty sure he's someplace warmer.

Because he comitted suicide? Agnes doesn't believe in that purgatory nonsense ;) David's father was always portrayed as a kind, introverted guy (or talked about anyway) he was practically destroyed by Vanessa.

The Jessie Angie storyline is I thing one thing K&S did right. GIving Angie and Jessie a Frontburner storyline and a diff twist on a baby switch. Unfortunately it was never Frontburner and the cancellation shortcut what should have been fallout that should have lasted for weeks or months.

Exactly--pacing and focus aside, I actually think it's been well done and given us some great moments--it's just too bad about that pacing. (not that I wanted it dragged out as long as some baby switch stories, but a bit more would be nice...)

I loved it! I thought he looked hot. We definetly do NOT see eye to eye when it comes to hair...lol

Ha, I liked it too...

"Anges loves a good story, and one thing she loves even more is a happy ending." Are they kidding with this crap? Ugh

Awww, I ate all those corny little asides to Agnes' real role with AMC right up. Loved them!

Oh no. I don't buy into that "suicide is a sin" bull. I'll have to go back and check out clips of people talking about David's father. For some reason I remember him as kind of a jerk but I might be thinking of Vanessa's description of him.

Yeah, I didn't think you did, was just confused. To be honest, I don't remember everything clearly, but I always had the vague impression he was seen as a rather meek but good natured man who was destroyed by Vanessa's controlling and mocking of him.

You mean, Vanessa found time between drug runs as "Proteus" to manipulate and demean her husband? ;)
