Hahaha, Miss Juana is cracking me up! I'll spare AMD@GH the video of the big ass spider with a million baby spiders on her back.

I'm actually more creeped out by little snakes than big old boa constrictors or whatever, but my grandma almost gave me a heart attack when she sent me the forward of that huge ass python that was eating sheep in Australia and finally got caught on the electric fence. If you are brave enough, go to snopes.com or just google "snake electric fence".

I always said if I were to ever go on Fear Factor, Id be able to do anything except something that had to do with snakes. Id have to lie to the producers and not list that as a phobia of mine bc you know they'd put it in. I cringe when I see people sit in a tub filled with hundreds of snakes. Not me. Id have to forfeit the money at that point. If you dont mess with them, they leave you alone, but I would not be able to sit still at all and Id sure to be bitten by something

Im perfectly fine with spiders. I see them in my apartment all the time. Most times I dont even bother killing the bc there's another somewhere to take its place. I used to see small lizards and that used to freak me out. I have to kill them if I see them in sight bc I cant stay in the apartment knowing one is crawling around somewhere.

Oh you must live down south or west coast with the lizards, some of my relatives get them too. I'll take a lizard over a snake anyday, but pretty much any and all reptiles/amphibians are not my thing. And I am SO with you on the Fear Factor thing, I have had that same imaginary conversation with myself!

I'm not really spider phobic either, but I do get startled when a bigger one pops out when you move something, or even creepier, when they hide in a leaf on a rose bush or something and dart out. Just the other night, I dozed off and woke up as a smallish one was coming down from the ceiling above my chest, it was like perfectly illuminated by the light of the TV. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I have to wonder if intuition had something to do with me waking up exactly at that point.

Now this thread is giving me ads for turtleshack.com

Oh my God what if they give me snake ads!!!! ADS DISABLED!!!

SFK I absolutely hate you. Of course, I had to google "snake electric fence". I will NEVER be the same. NEVER.

I need a drink.

LMAO! Sorry, I know, I told you to be brave! Imagine scrolling down a supposedly innocent fwd with a generic title and that smacking you in the face! I almost cussed my grandma the [!@#$%^&*] out!

Snakes. HATE them. But SFK, black snakes are no big deal, though... you WANT them around!! they eat mice and rats, and LOTS of them. When I see a black snake, I let out a scream like a cheerleader in heat, then calm right down and say to myself "Oh, it's just a black snake". Although they are COMPLETELY harmless, you know what creeps me out? WALKLING STICKS.

Oddly enough, for growing up here in the desert I've always been okay with snakes. We've only ever had one rattler show up at our house one time(that was kinda scary as it came up to our patio door!)

But as for the tarantulas, centipedes, nasty little spiders, cockroaches etc. all give me the heebie geebies.wacko.pngwacko.pngwacko.png I can't stand any of them. The worst occurred while I was watching The Exorcist one time in the dark I could see a black widow run the wall in the glow of the TV and that scared me more than the movie!

My mother lived in Florida during her teen years and she told me that big ass black snakes would come up out of the drains into her bathtub. Needless to say, I dont take baths anymore...

Spiders creep me out more than anything though, although Daddy Long Legs don't phase me. Funny, considering that they are in fact, the most poisonous spider but, because their mouths are so incredibly tiny, if they did bite us it wouldn't affect us.
