June 8, 20169 yr Member Prometheus disc is for my money the best story GH ever did. I'm not sure it was the best story GH ever did - but it was good. And it was different...and confusing. You did need to pay attention every day. Fun times!
June 8, 20169 yr Member Original recipe Natasha......double the Grants even though he came later... Lord Rama and Gregory Malko... another story that was so typically 80s, yet fun to watch as a teen!
June 17, 20169 yr Member Robert Hogan became Phil Brewer #3 when the actor playing the role Rick Falk was injured at home and required a body cast. Hogan, who had recently been on cancelled sister ABC soap Young Marrieds was quickly enlisted to play Phil.
July 31, 20169 yr Member I didn't like this era of GH, but at least they still knew how to make promos.
July 31, 20169 yr Member Not going to lie, my grade 8 self was hooked on the panic room story. I feel like Guza's GH was great only if you were tuning into the show for the first time, but after a couple years watching his work I noticed the retreads and backed away, never to return.
August 1, 20169 yr Member The Panic Room, the Contagion arc, the first Laura wakes up from her coma, Brenda is alive and the Metro Court hostage event were all entertaining to me. The Laura one was the only story that was all heart and character work versus plot and action, but I enjoyed them all. The problem was during Guza's first two runs, I enjoyed enough of what happened in between his big events that I was still a regular viewer. Some of that I have learned was because Riche was forcing his hand on including characters he would later ignore or write out. With JFP, I began to hate more of the events, and the treading water between events, and the near total domination of misery and the same 5 characters being featured all the time. If you weren't Jason, Sam, Sonny, Carly, or Michael (no child character from baby to teen to adult has ever been the focus of more on this show than him), you were on twice a week at best, and only if you were in Luke's orbit, or in the orbit of those 5.

September 10, 20169 yr Member I floved Dawn and Decker! I am still bitter they killed Dawn off after having gone through four actresses.

Most definitely...followed by Jennifer Guthrie (#4), Kim Valentine (#1, who we barley got to even know) and lastly Lisa Fuller (#3).
