Erica hasnt talked about Mike in years and with one month left, they cant rebuild him up as her great love and end the show with them. It just cant work. I dont even see the point of trying to go there with such limited time.

ITA. If there was any man who should come swooping back into Erica's life it would be Count Andrassy. The Mike Roy thing is so random he might as well be Chris Stamp.

Maybe he's being tied in to her upcoming biography... since he is the first person to have written one for her. I don't necessarily believe he's been "re-killed" and "re-resurrected," either. I'm not sure how that conclusion is being reached. I mean, they had obituaries in 1986, too!

I'm on the same page here. As much as I adored Mike and Erica's relationship, it does feel kind of random to include him again, dead or alive, after all this time.

I joked (sort of) in the thread for today's episode that it was Phil Brent, but in a way, that makes more sense than Mike since it would bring Erica's story "full circle," if you know what I mean.

We could all be overreacting. (Hardly the first time!) Maybe Erica starts thinking about Mike Roy because she thinks he would be the best person to help her with Uncensored. Maybe she just wants someone who really understands her journey to handle her last book,

Agreed. Fortunately, I have no doubt Erica will leave this show triumphant, whole and embracing the future, but perhaps NOT alone. Maybe she and Opal will Thelma and Louise it.

I read at SOC, that SOD/SOW spoilers are saying David says he does not have Mike Roy as one of his patients.

I think the two he does have are Babe & Stuart
