I'm not making him a saint. He is a rapist, he is not redeemed. But he tries. What has TSJ-Todd done? How do you account for his actions with Marty and Jessica? How do you respond to that? Stop talking in one-liners or people are going to start thinking you know we're right, and you're just butthurt about TSJ not being Todd. And yes, what he did in 2008 alone and how he has handled Marty since told many of us long ago this is not the same man. And the show is saying it is not Todd.

Nothing he has done prior to this story proves he isnt Todd Manning and never was. We've had plenty of story and years to prove that he is, despite the backtracking now to act like that didnt happen

The rapemance and his mistreatment of Viki/Jessica were the most noticeable differences in the character and many would say they were extremely out of character.

He was insane. The guy went through a complete mental breakdown, shutting himself off from any sense of reality and living in some warped fantasy. He was clearly crazy and losing touch with rational thinking and logic. Thats how its explained. Had he been sane and not lost it, that stuff most likely wouldnt have happened. Its not like its something he would do in his current mental capacity.

Todd hitting Tea was horrible, but he did it. He didn't re-rape Marty. Why can't you deal with that core issue? Or did you do what the show did with that storyline until now - try to forget it ever happened and focus on how hot and sexy the sociopath is?

no you didnt miss that bc the show didnt write it. He should have been locked up or killed off for that stuff, but they unfortunately didnt go there

All I saw is you fanwanking it and excusing his behavior. The show never made Frodd pay for the rapemance. He was not declared insane nor did he ever have a storyline dealing with how he had been mentally impaired during that story.

Nothing about him in that story was written as sane. He is not being portrayed today the same way he was in the latter half of 2008. Its not "fanwanking" Ive gone on record as absoutely hating Todd during and after that story and really wish the show had killed him off. That was my response to him at the time and how I still feel about it. I will forever hate what he did and that they even went there. I still saw it as a man who was psychotic and lost all touch with reality

Which is why I, for one, wish they had brought back RH as Todd's long-lost twin. ("Oh, look, Victor and Irene had TWO sons (and one of 'em isn't a rapist)!," rather than, "Wait, there's TWO Todds?!") Because, let's face it, regardless of who's portraying him, Todd Manning is a pathetic, little man who outlived his usefulness LONG ago.

He's not pushing away and alienating his loved ones. He hasnt isolated himself from the rest of the world and focusing solely on one person, whom he feels is the only person worth living for. He was like that for the last few years at least starting with when he pushed Starr off the stairs and acting like he did not care, I think that was the start of TSJTodd looking like he was in a coma. Before 2008 I thought TSJ was a pretty good Todd.

It seems most people think TSJ started acting un-Todd-like when RC took over as head writer, no? Maybe he's just trying to right his wrongs her and realizes the douchery of his writing. I wouldn't be surprised if they were intentionally writing Todd a little off just in case they wanted to go for the imposter storyline, RH or not. I mean, they brought back Patrick as a body double, it wouldn't have surprised me in the least if they had stuck to the plan of TSJ imposter Todd without RH coming back.

We know RH Todd will be Todd. I wish they would just move this story along. We know TSJ is leaving and he wont be Todd. So RC needs to move the story to a conclusion already so TSJ can go his happy merry way with his fans too and have RH Todd stay at OLTL for a couple of more months miserable...lol

I just wish TSJ were taking FL with him. She is the only other actor I care about minus JVD and HBS.

Unless they put her with RH's Todd, I wonder what they will do with her. Id love it if TSJ were staying longer as he wanted to and they had Tea reject hi and slowly realize she loves him despite whats happeend and decides to leave town with him. As it stands, I cant see either getting a happy ending now. He will leave town in disgrace, if he isnt killed off and she will be all alone. I hope they will at least bring him back in the fall to give them some closure. Id love it if he came back for her and they left together. I hate the damage that this stupid story is going to do to my favorite couple
