Discussion for the Month of August

What I find disturbing about this Let's Get Diane SL is how cruel and malicious it is. There seems to be something very pointed and targeted at MW, like TIIC are taking out their misplaced resentment of Sony and Barbara Bloom on Maura West. I wonder how it must feel for MW to have Josh Morrow essentially repeat the things he said in a previous interview about being paired with her, only in the guise of "Nicholas" and to her face? It makes for quite uncomfortable viewing.

Don't get me started on the rest of the bully boys (Fluckers, Aunt Jack, Grambo, Phyllis) going on and on about how "we need to rein Diane in" and "she's going to get what's coming to her." What are they going to do -- gang-rape her to "teach her a lesson"? It's a celebration of the nasty, misogynistic, mob mentality and I cannot believe we are being asked to side with that.

Not to mention there are bigger monsters than Diane. But she's a female(not named Phyllis) so she has to die. Speaking of Diane's death, I'm surprised she didn't die laughing at Victoria's threat of revenge.

That music was spooky with her floating in the water like that. It kind of looked liked she was still breathing for a second.

I think her death might turn out similar to Skye's.

I don't know if it was The Lake -- it wasn't frost-bitten like when Brad fell into it, nor on a psychedlic acid trip like with Colleen. But it was a body of water with Diane (and her stacked heels) floating in it. Lovely.

It was a weird, piece o' crap end montage, too. Topped off by Phick's most ridiculous and unconvincing sex scene to date.

Laughing my ass off! FauxToria was so unconvincing. I'm surprised she didn't tell Diane "Don't be mean to me or I'm gonna sic my daddy on you." Oh wait, she did do that.

Terribly upsetting for this fan....seeing Maura act her ass off and frankly school so many of the others. Just glad some of you new to her work got to enjoy her..

I thought her scene with ED was so well done and opposite Maura, MS just comes off as a skittish over-acter.....but that's my opinion. I almost lost it when she told Michael, "this isn't how I wanted things to be........"

Maura West is a class act and I'm very proud to be her fan.

Ten bucks says either the mystery is never resolved and we're supposed to forget about it, or it's some random character. They certainly won't have any of MAB's pets be responsible for Diane's death.

I really do feel for Diane fans under any actress. I can't believe the show actually mentioned Spermgate, considering Abby and Kyle are nowhere near one another in age anymore.

Does she usually have the whole town hating her? And from what everyone has told me the character has never had to run around town offering sex or begging for paychecks.

Diane will have drowned accidentally and no one really killed her.

Either that, or Kyle killed her.

I think I'm going to pretend Diane left when Alex Donnelly did. What I saw of head cheerleader Susan Walters, I didn't care for, and Maura's material has been nothing more than Hogan Sheffer's worst fantasies.
