so. much. truth!

Exactly.

He and most of the soap opera press with any real kind of contact over the past year or two knew taht ABC was going to axe a soap. He tried heavily to make sure it was AMC and not OLTL. Then they went ahead and just axed both at once instead of doing a CBS and axing one a year.

This is true. Very much so when you have fans who become press. Other factors can play a hand, ie shows that offer your more coverage, where you have contacts, what shows/actors/etc gets you the most feedback, but usually its clear what persons favorite soap is by their reporting.

What he posted didnt directly say it, but it was more than implying, it was directly leading people to that conclusion.

He didnt respond to it when people were talkin about it until VI said something. Now he wants to scale back and play innocent.

Except for the Broderick factor, the FB entry is exactly what Jamey reported imo. The minute I read jamey's tweet, I thought "Oh Snap, he is totally blaming VI for AMC being put on hold" :o

And if you are going to be a biased Reporter or Columnist, you can expect to be called out fo rit and Jamey has made it obvious with his bias against AMC!!!

I agree with you 100%, thats why I'm reading most of these comments and placing a (none emoticon) after at lot them. You're right! There is bias, including here.

I'm no fan of Jamey's at all. In fact, I've listened to that podcast and his voice and giggling grates my nerves, BUT he's posting what he's heard. Whether wrong or right.....right?

Child boo! It is the issue. You're going through it because you don't like what he said. Yep. He's probably got it wrong, but as I said he posts what he's heard just as everyone else does. None ya'll know the real deal. It's all the same as far as I'm concerned.

1. Jamey tweeted that VI is a reason why AMC is being postponed.

2. A Facebook user asked VI if he's the reason why AMC is being postponed.

3. VI responded and said that that was "rubbish."

Jamey is acting like #1 has nothing to do with #2, and that is the issue. That is why he went into his crusade yesterday. Any other situation, he'd jump all over the chance to claim ownership over a scoop. This time, though, he's pretending the Facebook user either A, came up with the information all on her own, or B, got it from someone else. As far as I know, he was the first person to put the VI thing out there, so it all falls on his (trying hard not to add mean adjectives here) shoulders.

THANK YOU. It has nothing to do with whether or not his information was false. It has everything to do with him acting like he didn't put the information there in the first place.

So "child boo," as I said, STEP. BACK.

Like I said, great, but my point was he reports what he hears from his "sources", whether right or wrong. That's he does. That was my point about Jamey being biased along with everyone else when it comes to these soap operas.

Had what wrong? No dear. You misunderstood my OP and took it where it didn't need to go. Now you take two steps back then try again.

Not sure what your point is as I havent read anyone deny he reported what he supposedly heard, but now he is bitching that what he "heard" was misinterpreted to VI, blah, nlah, hence the backtracking and spin. He has been hearing a lot as of late and very few if any of what he has heard has come to fruition and been flat out denied by the very subjects of what he has "heard" therein lies the issue ;)
