Dont count KA, RSW and HBS Out

Frankly, until/unless PP reaches a deal with the union and gets more money, I'm not counting anybody in.

Cheap

The List was of The contract Characters On ABC's OLTL Not PP

oh my bad, sorry!

According to this objective article, there's now a possiblity that PP won't even have both soaps ready to air as soon as OLTL leaves ABC.

We already kinda knew that, didn't we>?

Wow it seems like OLTL online will retain a good portion of it's cast. I think it's a go in January for sure

It sounds like the main hindrence, cast or no cast, now is funding and still the unions.

Since we haven't heard anything about TSJ or RH joining, I wonder what they'll do with Tea. I would suggest hiring Wortham Krimmer, but I don't think that will happen.

I can easily see PP recasting Todd and Victor if TSJ and RH don't sign.

Anyhoo, FL has driven Téa-centric story the last 2 years and with this new pregnancy story, raising Dani and defending half the town, her character has plenty of story going forward.

I can't see them recasting Todd after the TSJTodd/Victor fiasco of this year

Chris, thanks for linking to an article from an objective news organization. Sorry, but I will have to take any news from the soap press with a grain of salt, given their obvious fianancial interest in the success of this venture.

That Wall Street Journal article reminded me of that unfavorable report in the NY Times Jeff K article.

Eh, they recast Todd for 8 years and the show survived just fine.

RC has left several doors wide open to rewrite this mess in the future since RH has a history of not sticking around.

Wait which one was that? I thought that writeup was pretty positive.

Me too & I give him props for admitting that some of the things he did did not turn out the way he hoped

Interesting indeed. Add to that the rumors about a bunch of stations dropping Rachael Ray (which airs on the ABC-owned stations in NYC and Philly at 10am) after this season and the speculation about Nate Berkus moving to OWN next year and we have a very muddled syndication forecast for next fall.

I think a lot of people consider the fawning of the soap press to be the norm.

Probably why they are not taken seriously anymore if ever

I thought the NYT article was a pretty objective look and it didn't make JK look bad at all at least not IMO
