On one side of the lopsided scale, Prospect Park is being told by the all-knowing fans they need to hurry up and make moves when it comes to signing on AMC actors -- or else AMC is going to be ruined. On the other side of the same lopsided scale, Prospect Park is being told that AMC actors shouldn't be hounded into signing away four years of their lives because they were lied to, forced to move across country and are "fatigued."

Remember the good old days? When casting, recasting, firings were all announced after the fact?

I think the problem is AT LEAST half the cast seems ready to peace the f--k out

I'm not sure I agree with you on that one.

Look at the "Shows" tab on ABC's site y'all...in the "What's Hot" subsection, the ever-failing "The Chew" is on there. HOW PATHETIC!

BTW just for kicks I am reading the start of this thread again just to see what we were thinking when we first heard about the PP deal. It's funny how some of us thought the original NYP story had to be wrong because they called Erica Kane a Villain.

Jennifer Bassey, Alicia Minshew and Carolyn Hennesy (msp) were on a radio show tonite. Bassey's fan stories crack me up. Just the way she tells them. A lot of good natured whore jokes for Alicia, also pretty funny. The host told Hennesy you're the only working actor in here which got a hilarious reaction out of Carolyn. Pretty much: "I work? on General Hospital?" She had everybody there cracking up.

Online stuff: Alicia once again said she'd be up for doing recurring if they could work that out. She wants to try some different stuff out too. Leaving it open, what happens happens. They chatted about how OLTL pretty much is a go on all cylinders in comparison to AMC at this point. A lot of cast signed on and all that. The host dropped a subtle hint on Jennifer Bassey's behalf to PP, haha, and gave a radio shot out to PP with the number for Jennifer Bassey's management and the assurance that she's on-board.

Golly! You mean Spyder Games wasn't it?

Ha I remember there used to be someone on here who WORSHIPPED that show--I admit I always wanted to see it just out of curiousity--it seemed to completely vanish, no youtube, etc...

While I am happy that so many OLTL actors and production staff have been announced I don't want AMC to fall in between the cracks. I want to know who is going to be running AMC and I want to hear that Susan Lucci and other actors are on board. Come on PP!

Well yes, so do I and others I'm sure, but I'm not too worried for some reason...

Tell me about it.

I don't want to start a new thread, and not sure where I should share my SURPRISE ---- but I just picked up the new AMC Special 'People' magazine (LOVE IT) - but is Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie) really 39 years old??? Is that not a typo?? Damn!!!

Also, isn't it weird that Randi and Scott were left out of the current cast photos? They are amazing solo pictures shot just for the magazine, but I'm surprised that they were left out. Not that Randi really matters in the grand scheme of things...

It irritated me, too. But Cosgrove, among others, had photos done by Newsweek are similar in nature so just pretend they were the same shoot ;)
