Members Eric83
O&O means owned and operated directly by NBC. There are 10. LA, NYC, Chicago, San Diego, San Jose, Miami, DC, one in Conneticut, Fort Worth and Philadelphia.
Members EricMontreal22
Thanks Eric--had no idea the difference.
Members All My Shadows
WDSU in New Orleans aired the RHs before DAYS, and I don't think it's an O&O...
Members Eric83
Yeah, they probably did it voluntarily. But most others (like my Atlanta affiliate) aired the Housewives on their MyNetworkTV affiliates. [
Members marceline
LOL! Don't apologize to me. (Dude, you are such a Canadian! ) I just hate seeing you apologize for making very valid points and respectfully stating your opinion as your opinion. Semantics make all the difference. "Some" may say you are holding out hope, I think you're just showing the ability to think critically and analyze information. It's like when someone questions a press release or news article. Inevitably someone else says, "Why would they lie?" That always makes me facepalm.
Members JaneAusten
Just wait. If and when Lucci and PP come to terms we will hear how Deadline was wrong or somehow Agnes brokered the deal because you know the people who actually do this for a living, the attorneys and agents and managers could not come to an acceptable compromise. lol
Members EricMontreal22
Ha! I completely misread what your post. Thanks--OK I'll try to stop apologizing for my opinion
Members Wizzerkat
Susan tweeted this a few hours ago for what it's worth: Susan_Lucci Susan Lucci Be sure to pick up a copy of the September 19th issue of People to read about, "Life After Erica Kane"... Members EricMontreal22
I wonder if she's being inundated with angry tweets (I'm guessing... yes)
Members marceline
And that is a perfect example of why Susan Lucci is the most recognized person in soaps. With all due respect to Erika Slezak, Genie Francis, Dierdre Hall and Eric Braeden, none of them has ever marketed and promoted themselves the way Lucci did, does and will. Although I give props to Dierdre Hall. I'm showing my age now but she did an interview on the Arsenio Hall show in the 90s that blows my mind to this day. He fed her strawberries and whipped cream. LOL!
Members skiman12082004
So I guess that will be our official announcement from Susan Lucci with the People magazine article? I am so over stressing about this.....totally makes feel like an even bigger loser LOL Anyway, I am just going to enjoy the last 2 weeks of AMC. If PP is stupid enough to shelve the show because they are unable to secure SL then so be it. There is absolutely nothing I can do.
Members EricMontreal22
I'm sure we'll hear officially before an article.. I think anyway. And again, call me polyanna if you must , but I don't think this necesarily means she will never play Erica on the online edition--obviously it's about her life now that the tv version is over. (though it could be taken both ways)
Members JaneAusten
I dont think that article means a thing in terms of whether she is moving on to the online version or not so I would not panic over it. Who knows she might be waiting until her appearence on The View to announce something.
Members Khan
No, they need Erica Kane, not the black drag queen who's using her name.
Members Max
Everybody knows how pessimistic I am regarding the PP project, but not even I believe that PP will shelve AMC if they cannot get Lucci. All of that company's credibility would be ruined, given that PP wrote (in a press release) that they would air both AMC and OLTL online.
