And if he brought back Robin, we'd need cameras in that damn building, that's where the real soap opera would be. I think he'd lose the Fords though which would of course be a plus. My grandma emails me asking me questions, trying to figure this thing out, cable or internet, and I don't know what to tell her. I gave her a run down of all the possibilities and she just emailed me yesterday saying that they'll probably quit watching once AMC "is over as we now know it." Members Chris B Posted September 15, 2011 Members Share Posted September 15, 2011 If I were in charge of PP, I'd look for new writers aggressively since I'd want to revamp the shows at least somewhat. THey need to look at bibles from several people for each show and see who has the best visit to take things into the future. If that's somebody with daytime experience that's fine, but I'd liek them to look elsewhere as well. They can always balance it out with an experienced CO-HW and the already existing breakdown writers who know the history of these shows. There was a time when Douglas Marland was just a former soap actor and Harding Lemay was a novelist. And back then in a lot of those cases the writer had never seen the show before. Frons never hired him on after that which is a good thing. Prospect Park is not impressing me whatsoever if they are looking at the same pool of tired talent we have seen for years.
