the Bill Bell era on B&B was great! all episodes were great written! There were hints to what to expect. Stories were very well developed! Like Angela's story, Ridge shooting.... Characters were very strong and konstant. Not the parody they are now

so sad now to watch the scenes between Taylor and Brooke. Both characters were changed too much. Not to mention lines not corresponding to the truth - when Ridge like a few months ago said to Steffy they never had dogs because Stephanie did not love dogs ?!?!? WT.... the story when Ridge was shot - the dogs were barking. They had two big dogs - St. Bernards. it is almost like writers now had some kind of amnesia. And every time they bring up Ridge's paternity is sounds like Stephanie new from the start and hid it from others.

What's odd is that Donna's character went to college to become a journalist and did the modeling in order to pay for college... and even finished school.. and her last episodes in early 1991 were involved getting an offer to work at Spencer Publishing.. but opting not to take the job.   So it's jarring that Donna is basically a receptionist at times, when the character in the early years had more of an organic connection to the fashion/publishing/modeling angle of the show than Brooke/Katie.

As we were talking about pinning down the airdatres a while back: Judging by the "Forever Knight" promo ("Tonight"), the episode labeled as Jan 18 aired on a Tuesday...

so it should be January 19 instead because according to wikipedia that show always aired on Tuesday. The December 1992 episodes also strike me as one or two days off the listed dates.

In terms of the recent postings on YT that are listed by season, does anyone have any idea about the date(s) of season 2?  The most recent listings are S2 E275 & S1 E22

The IMDB listings don't break the episodes into seasons so I am unsure if the date correspond.

The numbering these users use is the basic one, meaning S2 E275 is merely stating that it is a season 2

episode but the 275th episode overall.

BTW: I did some Google searching and translating. Apparently, Dutch broadcaster RTL8 brought on B&B rerurns for the show's 30th anniversary. Initially 10 episodes, then made it 30 - and when viewer feedback (it aired 6.30 pm in pre-primetime following current B&B!) was huge, they extended it for roughly 150 episodes. After that they axed it and viewers were unhappy. Now it seems that the reruns were continued - I'n not sure if on cable TV or on RTL's media streaming service RTL lounge. Unfortunately, I couldn't find out yet whether episode 275 was a "fresh" episode from last week or whether the reruns are much further ahead in the Netherlands. Therefore it is still unclear for how long we will be blessed with these consecutive episodes in pristine quality. I for one will keep my fingers crossed. I bought the first 250 episodes DVD box sets but as the release was not continued  this is a treat!

    • This is so confusing. So will CBS and P.Plus just be a day ahead for the rest of the episodes the whole week?
    • April 15, 1993 is when they first meet.
    • Does anyone know the air date when Victoria & Cole first meet? Was there a scene when Victoria was sitting on Cole's lap and kissed him? If so, does anyone know the air date?
    • When is the last time Bridget & Deacon scene happened?
    • Surely that was a joke. Why would anyone seriously ask if Dani had any rooms besides having a bedroom? MOST of the time when we see her, she's in that open, airy, white room with her kitchen far stage left & there's an island & a love seat.  I have meant to post to say how taken I was with Eva last Thursday. You don't know it but I have  not really gotten into either Eva or Leslie/Sheila/Anna/Dana/Mom in the same ways or degrees most of y'all have.  With "Many Names" I get that it's quite a challenge to play that evil & that crazy without becoming cartoonish & she hasn't, so there is that. But, I do not see layers or nuance. I also do not fault the actress. If the gray tones are not there on the page, I don't expect to see them ripped out of thin air. With Eva there were so many questions. Now most have been answered.
    • No kidding. It’s amazing to me that CBS as messy as it was for the 97-98 season landed at #2 that year thanks to Sunday nights, 1/2 of the Monday night lineup, Diagnosis Murder on Thursdays, and oddly the Saturday night line-up. I think CBS was saved by the Winter Olympics not to mention ABC had gotten even messier than CBS’ mess.  CBS came out a more solid for #2 for the 98-99 season but was still very uneven overall. Outside of Sundays the rest of the network’s hits were on checkerboard split between Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.    Had it not been for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire fever I’d say CBS probably would’ve been at #2 for the 99-00 season as well, very much still uneven but of course Survivor and CSI were on the horizon. (*There’s some evidence that CBS may have barely eked out a win for #2 for the 96-97 season but that season’s mess sure doesn’t feel that way)
    • By request, I present to you "Abbott Communications".
    • Meh, I'm a bit tipsy after coming from a Mother's Day festivity. I should have posted a picture of her and Andre in her little great room.
    • Their question was does she only have a bedroom lol
