So let me see if I understand correctly. David wants to help Angie regain her sight, but then Jesse's lie is exposed.

So Jesse is going to probably convince Angie not to take David up on his offer because he's David friggin Hayward.....

Oh boy. Lorraine HURRY!

Oh, Lord, this story is just one inane twist after another.

I echo the sentiment: Lorraine, gurl, hurry yo' ass up!

I hate that this baby nonsense is Jesse and Angie's final story, their swan song after nearly 30 years

I rarely watch AMC and only do so to see the marvelous Darnell and his acting mate Debbi. The writers had better have an ace up their sleeve by the name of The Real Baby Hubbard Still Alive and Kicking. They can do this. David is king of confiscating presumed dead people. This had better be the plan, or be made the plan. Otherwise, AMC can't go off the air soon enough for me.

Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan are daytime royalty. Killing Angie and Jesse's baby the final year of AMC? No one could be this stupid or cruel.

Why do I think that they plan to put Angie with David once Jesse gets busted for taking Maya's baby.

I don't know why, especially when they'll barely have enough time (before AMC's finale) to work things out between Angie and Jesse.

Good promo. It peaked my curiosity. I like David's involvement in Angie and Jesse's story. It is too bad that there won't be enough time for Angie and Jesse to work past what he did with the baby and reunited as a coupe.

I see an ending more about everybody deciding this was meant to be. Maya decides not to fight for the baby and leave town, Angie and Jesse decide that this was the baby they were meant to have. David gets Angie her sight back and Ne-yo performs at the christening (for free.)

I can see this, and you know, I'll be okay with that given the circumstances.

But I'll never, ever, ever, ever, ever forgive David Kriezman and Donna Swajeski for writing this story or ABC for giving it the okay knowing damn well what was going on.

Mismanagement 'til the end. That's ABC.

I dont think they will end the show apart. I dont see this story destroying them as a couple and Im sure Broderick will wrap it up nicely. I think she will have Angie pissed but ultimately understand what Jesse did. I see Maya letting them keep the baby and raising it as their own.

I don't see them apart at the end either, but I will miss watching them work their way back together as a couple with all the twists and turns that would take if they had all the time available. I do hope that Broderick writes the story so that Maya lets Angie and Jesse keep the baby and they have an open adoption arrangement.

Does anyone else think it's odd that Angie has ended two soaps with stories about a baby that she somehow finds or is given to her? That was also her last story on The City.
